How much lift did your spacers provide? And which shocks where you running with them? I think my TJ needed better shocks, sway bar extensions, and possibly a track bar adjustment??? But a complete kit would have covered those additional parts for around $1300 which would have been better in the...
I had a 2" spacer kit on my 2005 TJ Unlimited and it road/handled like crap. It cost me around $300 including shocks, for what it cost I would have been better off putting the $300 towards an OME kit.
As for suzukis I would give these guys a call...
I've been looking into the BFG KO2's in a 235/85/16 I think the advantages of the size are pretty subtle as far as performance and fit goes, and I can't see any real disadvantages, but the price difference is what's really swaying me. 4 of them from 4wheelparts is only $597 with free shipping...
I was very happy when I went from 33x12.5x15 BFG MT's to 33x10.5x15's on my YJ I think it tracked nicer on the road, and it was easier to man handle the wheel/tire combo when working on the jeep. I don't know if it save me any MPGs to go with the skinny tire but I think it was easier on the...
Out of your list my vote is the Xterra, lots of accessories available, seems like a solid platform and with what you want to do a stock set up with some storage accessories and you are probably ready to go. I currently drive a 2015 Tacoma DCSB and it is a great daily driver with tons of potential.
Thanks for all of the info!!! I am planning the trip based off of what dates a good camp site is available, as for the trailer I was going to rent a teardrop from Hikertrailer in Denver for a few days I think its a 5 x 8, I suppose if thats too long to pull behind my Tacoma we can settle for a...
We are planning a Moab trip in April/May and I am trying to figure out which campsite on White Rim we should try to reserve, any suggestions? Also do you think I could pull an offroad tear drop on White Rim? We will be taking our 2nd gen DCSB Tacoma
Thanks
Keith
Any updates on these tires for the New Year? I am in Colorado and I am considering these tires for my Tacoma in a 235/85/16. I want to run them all year and I am planning a Moab Trip for the spring. I wasn't sure if this tire would be Moab friendly or if I should consider the BFG AT KO2?
