    Snugtop Rebel vs A.R.E CX

It was a tough decision, but, in the end A.R.E won out since I am moving back to Pittsburgh. Good thing there isn't a snugtop dealer back there other wise I would still be thinking it over. Thanks for the advice everyone!

    Snugtop Rebel vs A.R.E CX

TwinStick, thanks for the reply! I am leaning towards the ARE CX. Seems like both brands are good quality. Buying the ARE puts a couple hundred dollars towards the move budget which is a good thing.

    "Single Barrel" My LJ build.

How do you like the Trek Top NX vs Super Top NX? I think I would prefer the Super Top so that my cargo area is still use-able? But, for some reason I like the Trek top???

The Bold Overland Tacoma - Build Thread

I am also running the 235/85 KO2's and while the ride is some what stiffer than stock, its not any worse than my LJ Wrangler on "C" rate 31's??? I kind of feel like thats the price you pay for having tough off road tires.

    What year CJ?

Here's my jeep resume 1981 CJ 7 1979 CJ 7 1997 TJ 1995 YJ 1988 Suzuki Samurai (not a jeep, but, had YJ springs under it) 2005 LJ Out of all of these the 1995 YJ was my favorite, simple, solid, power steering, fuel injection. If all your after is a simple foundation a YJ is a sweet way to go...

    Moab April/May

I spoke with the locals when I was there, they said it does snow more than you'd think and that late October and early November are good times to visit.

20lbs CO2 Tank mount ideas for bed of 2nd gen Tacoma

I scored a 20lbs CO2 tank for an awesome price. In my search for ways to mount it I've only found a handful of ideas the power tank mounts seem to be my expensive option, or I could try and work something up with quickfists. I was wondering how many of you have CO2 tanks mounted and how did you...

Its time to replace the radiator in my 2005 TJ Unlimited, I have an auto transmission and I was considering installing a transmission cooler since I ll have the transmission lines unhooked and the radiator out anyway. I was wondering if any of you guys here have done this and if it was worth...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

I know they are not, but they are considered all terrains and people seem to love them in all conditions. I was asking @projected if he had experienced them in the snow since he and I both felt the lugs more closely resemble a mud lug. I don't mind having winter dedicated tires but if the ST...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

Have you run these tires in the snow at all? I was set on them till I saw a set in person and they look awesome but so much like a mud tire I am skeptical of their performance as a daily driver tire on snowy/icy roads.

Used Wrangler, Sweat Spot Year and Model

In the past 20 years I ve had CJ's, TJ's, YJ, a Samurai, and now I currently have a TJ Unlimited (LJ). My favorite daily driver/offroad was probably my YJ with a 4-banger, 5-speed, 4:88's, a BDS 3.5 kit, and 33x10.5's it was simple, reliable(not enough power/torque to break on rocks) and got 20...
