Make sure all appliances work. That includes furnace, water heater, air conditioning, fridge, stove etc. Make sure there’s water in the water tank pressurize everything with the onboard water pump if there’s a water system make sure there’s no leaks. Make sure the water pump doesn’t continue to...
I’ve done factory work. The fact that it’s mindless makes it even worse. It’s been 20 years and I think I could still put an engine in a bus while asleep.
I might do it for 80k a year though.
Great looking setup. Whenever I think about a similar setup I can’t decide if I should do the short wheelbase for maneuverability or the super long wheelbase for the 50+ gallon fuel tank.
Right now I’m in a double cab long box Chevy and the turning radius is comically bad.
I was a bit confused by the list of cars and now I see that was from 2009, 14 years ago.
So is it harder or easier to buy a fun performance car now for 10k?
I bought a clean ‘01 Mustang for 7k about the time this thread started. Seems like a great deal now but I’m not sure 260hp qualifies as...
I’ve found a 1500w space heater would keep our old 30’ travel trailer warm enough in 40f weather. Maybe 350w would be enough for an suv.
But, I think you’re only going to get a couple hours out of a battery before it’s dead.
That’s my general gripe with 1/2 tons. Crappy payload, tow mirrors will cost you like a thousand dollars, and you don’t get a big fuel tank standard, if at all.
My base model 2500 has all those concerns coverd. It’s just slow and gets bad mileage, lol.
On my ranger 87 octane was fine but they recommend premium for towing. That and the 18 gallon gas tank and the 12 mile per gallon while towing was enough to make me change.
You’ve driven eco boost trucks right? My ‘19 Ranger was as fast as my ‘01 mustang GT, and it was on 32” E load tires.
Peak torque at 3,000 rpm. It’s got plenty of power.
I don’t understand peoples fascination with getting the closest parking spot. People will drive around the lot three times to find the closest spot and then go into the gym and walk on the treadmill.
35’s fit. Had to pull the fender liner forward on the passenger side.
Nokian outpost made in Finland. More aggressive than I thought there’d be. A little more noise and vibration than the ht tires that were on the truck.
