To those of us who use Scissor steps. I aways think i'm going to step out of my camper and fall 3ft. Someone may have stolen or removed my scissor step. so I screwed a 1" eye bolt near my step and secured the step with a bike lock or you can use a cable & lock. see pics
You can use Duck tape or 3M sells a clear tape to use on the truck and camper, and use 2 away auto emblem tape on the boot to stop movement.

For fair pricing you may want to check the NADA (www.nadaguides.com) blue book on RV's Truck pop-up campers. In your State there are a few on Craigslist (CL). good luck. BTW You may have to drive some distance if you find your dream.
