    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

The Jeep hardtop is fiberglass with a bonded window. The length of the top from the edge of the back door to the rear is less than a meter. My traction mats are longer than that. The drip rail is also fiberglass and is not a recommended attachment point, especially for roof racks. The...

As for this over the windshield storage, just where/how do you expect to support it? Also, The Jeep hood isn't designed to stand on.

It's a black panel. It won't get any hotter over the engine than it would on the roof.

    New WARN Epic Wheels

Damn it! I just bought two wheels for the trailer build. If I'd have known these Jackhammer wheels were available I'd have ordered them instead. Love that look with the cooling vents.

RRT Top Heavy Jeep, suspension/sway bar suggestions

Put the OME 150kg front, 300kg springs on it with a set of good gas shocks. OME makes those too. It's what I run on mine and I don't have any sway issues.

Best Battery (Generator) for Fridge (Dometic CFX50)

Most of those "Amazon options" don't have the regulated 12v output required to run a fridge/freezer.

    Small portable electric. Cooler

Get over to Phalcon Overland in Vista and pick up one of their 45 liter Bluetooth enabled fridges, it's under $400 bucks. Go to just about any online 4x4 part seller and get a 15-20ft 12v fused cigarette adapter and run it to your battery. All problems solved.

    Larger Tires vs. Wheel Uptravel

For rocky terrain you'll be airing down your tires to 8-12 PSI anyway, between the two sizes I'd prefer the larger for the larger countouring contact patch against rocks.

    Larger Tires vs. Wheel Uptravel

Suspension travel between the two would be constant, the same. The limiting factor would be body/fender clearance for the tire. My Jeep has run both sizes, and can "stuff" both in the fenders. The reason I run the smaller of the two sizes now is because of my gearing, NOT clearance issues.

Off Road Trailer Group Buy (M416 Style) ***Closed***

Anxious to see pics of yours. I just built a camp kitchen, so I'll use that for a while but the idea of a big dry box that I can quickly convert has an appeal. I do have so build time to change it up. My tires and wheels are on the way.
