The Colorado diesel will allegedly get almost 30 mpg empty and 20 towing. I considered it for a minute but decided against for reliability issues. Mostly sensors and emissions crap.

I’ve had a couple types of all terrain tires and for on road winter travel I’ve not been impressed. I haven’t found they have any advantage over a good all season highway tire.
Here in MN I now run dedicated snow tires because it stays cold for months on end.
Toy hauler would be the best option, but the layout of those can be weird.
I don’t know about hanging it off the back of the trailer. What affect would that 300lbs have in regards to tongue weight.Would it offset the trailers existing 300lbs of tongue weight? That could be sketchy.
