2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

It’s nice the Chevys have the extra battery tray already. I took my old battery and put it there. Then I made an isolated dual battery setup. Now I’m wondering how I’d know if one of the batteries shorted out?

Removing rear seats to increase payload capacity?

I don’t understand the handling bit. Race cars handle well, they have stiff suspension. Heavy duty trucks have such stiff suspension most don’t even need or have a rear sway bar. I get in my dodge 1500 work truck and compared to my 2500 it feels like it pitches side to side with the slightest...

2021 RAM 3500 Tradesman | AEV Prospector | FWC Grandby

I used to do it on bolts when I installed engines in buses. Shows that you torqued it and shows if it loosens, I think?

    F150 - Gas vs Diesel

You can get a super duty shorter in length than a f150 if you choose. But yes the default crew/short bed and is longer in a superduty. Does the super duty still have a bigger turning radius when they have the same configuration, crew/6.5’ bed etc?

    LMTV 4x4 Van Truck

It’s stenciled “something something 71st CAV” with Google shows as an army unit.

    F150 - Gas vs Diesel

F150 and super duty use the same cab now. It’s the same size truck except for height.

Removing rear seats to increase payload capacity?

At the dealership I work at we had a sales guy who was trying to convince a guy that “no it’s not a rotten floor, it’s a floating floor”. The customer saw through the bs but the sales guy is still employed.

Removing rear seats to increase payload capacity?

My ‘01 mustang GT had hydro boost. I assume it’s because the mod motors are stupid wide and take up too much room.

How did Voyagers/HBC Outfitters do it?

My only experience with wool blankets was in army basic training in unheated barracks 50-60degrees. The blankets seemed sized for a 5’3” guy but I think they had shrunk over decades of use. The cold is what I remember most of basic training.

    Improving factory seats

They’re expensive $200 or more I think. It wasn’t too hard of a job. Took an hour or maybe more.

    Desert Turtle - M1010 Build

You gonna get the paint code for that dodge and try to match or no?

    Improving factory seats

I have also replaced my driver side seat cushion with a a new one. It was enough of a difference I had to lower my seat height. I think it was from the seat guys or something like that.

    Desert Turtle - M1010 Build

That’s a clean old dodge. Haven’t seen one like that in at least ten years here in the rust belt.

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

That sounds like some kind of soccer mom feature. I liked my auto 4x4(NOT to be confused with AWD) feature in my old Chevy. I didn’t want to leave 4x4 on all the time and the auto 4x4 would activate at about the same time you realized 2wd was loosing traction. Faster than you could push the 4wd...

Removing rear seats to increase payload capacity?

Everyone knows Toyota’s are super overbuilt though so in real life Timmy would be fine.

    2002 Chevy S10 4x4 Crew Cab

S10’s are underrated. I’ve had three s10’s: two pick ups and a blazer, one zr2. In regards to your spacers. Keep in mind 2wd and 4wd have different wheel offsets. Also the fronts are wider than the rears(4wd only I think.) If you went with 2wd wheels you would have an even wider track width than...

Removing rear seats to increase payload capacity?

If I was going to full time in a truck camper I wouldn’t go less than a 1 ton. It doesn’t make sense to overload your truck 100% of the time. There’s no benefit to that.

Yep that’s how it works on the smaller tent trailers to.

1949 International/Jeep Wrangler Rock Crawling & Overland Build

That’s a lot of money for the kit. Should be plenty for airing up tires though. I went with a much cheaper viair and it barely airs a tire from 50-80psi.
