Asbestos fibers are the issue keep the fibers wet "Brake Cleaner" and not floating around and you will be fine.

Great price. I would remove the bed to make it easier to weld in the floor plates. The carriage bolts and tabs are easily removed. I pulled the bed off mine to paint and it made better.

Do the rear stabilizers have a stop to keep then from going higher or do they hit the tub lip? if they hit the lip cut the top off so they retract the full way.

I would try to find a raw version with no coating. Then it will be ready to weld and paint with the trailer. There is a seller on ebay that makes them to custom length.
