Yes, we know that they and several other vendors carry bracketry for a 5 lb tank....doesn't really help much when we are looking for 10lb stuff or a 20 lb as the above post is asking.....thanks anyway
I would need 2 brackets. I'm thinking 45 dollars for painted steel or 75 for an aluminum or stainless variety.
As an aside I emailed Manutec in Australia for their small gas bottle bracket. 23.25 AUS retail for the bracket and 115 AUS for shipping to Virginia.....sadly I had to decline the...
We use the Zodi Hut for showers
its really roomy inside so its a breeze to dry off and change clothes in. It is open at the top so if you're using it as a privy be cautious in the rainy season....
I am likewise interested in a locking bracket for a 10lb tank.....my online searching bears no fruit either.....
good luck, I'm keeping an eye to this thread:088:
Ok I just got off the phone with......well, I don't remember who (darn old man brain!) but they were very helpful and friendly in solving my online order problem for my MaxCoupler. Just a personal and public thanks to you sir!
Very Sincerely
James
Not all the BFG ATs get the snowflake, I think it's dependent on load range and tire size. I'm not sure why, just noticed that some do some don't. The set I bought from Sams back in 03 were flaked.....(265/75/16s LR D)
Man I wish I had a spare 20,000 laying around.
For that money you'd be getting a real "go anywhere" vehicle.
and if you travel with any of the Tundrabirds, you automatically get the title of "Tundrabird Prime"
I'll agree with Redline, a 265 sized tire will give you enough height. They're not the "ExPo" cool size but we won't care. And the selection of treads will be unsurpassed by any other size.
The 255 will be making you wish for more gear ratio (or more engine), and if Maryland is like Virginia...
One of our aluminum boxes we use on the bed rack is a custom job made by K&W Manufacturing. They'll make aluminum boxes any size you need.
.
As my example, in the photo it is the box facing the back of the truck with the red badge on it. With the 3 32x12x12 boxes and the kitchen box we still...
Oh Puh-leeze. I do believe I saw your minor build thread on here somewhere....
That might be fair if you add three more people to your ride, their food, water, and gear.....really, have you seen all the stuff the four of us take? The food alone probably weighs as much as your midget ride.
Dumb...
Thanks for the advice TB. Since I'm not really wheeling like you and not trying to wrap my tires around rocks and logs to climb over I think I'll start slow and try 3/4 of that first....
I hadn't thought of that aspect, and I have read some on sand driving.....as a creature of habit I simply put my Stauns on and let them do their thing (I think they're at 20 or 22 psi). They were set up with the old ST's and this is the first I've aired down the Maxx's. Clearly I need to do...
Well, we got back from Cape Lookout 2 days before Irene landed. We were on the beach for 5 days and the ST Maxx's did very well in the sand.
I wish I could compare the to the ST of the same size.
My personal feeling is the 255/85 STs are slightly better than the 285/75 ST Maxx's.
The...
