    Duluth Fire Hose Pants Testimonials??

I can tear through carhartt pants in a matter of weeks, although I still wear them all the time. Way better than jeans, but certainly not indestructible. For those who have these, how do they hold up (or how do you think) to metal fabrication? welding, grinding, cutting, ect? I have set a...

Thanks for the putting up this FAQ, its has a lot of awesome info, especially for someone like me who always assumed a CB was 'great' for communications. Now that I am back stateside, I will be going for the tech license on Feb 28th. Thanks again, ~ James

Arent the ARB, Engel and Norcold all the same fridge? Just re-badged? The norcold I just picked up looks exacly like the Engel, not similar, exactly like them. ~ Stump

    My Craigslist Score....

Well, once again I failed to take 'before' pictures assuming I could steal the pics he had on the craigslist ad, but he has already deleted the ad....so, you just have to trust me that it looks about a 100 times better than it did on yesterday! Here are the pics, after a fresh paint job. Once...

Trailer build based on a utility trailer

Well that's the problem! A jig is not designed for cutting straight lines... :D (which makes me wonder what the engineers were thinking when they put 'lasers' on them now) You need to host the pictures at a different location, ie. photobucket, and then paste them here. I am not aware of ExPo...

    My Craigslist Score....

Yeah, I have been using one of those coleman 12 volt "coolers" for about 3+ years now. Its gotten me by, but not easily. Nowhere near a real fridge.... I am really looking forward to it. Also glad I found the bigger fridge, with my new trailer, room is not an issue. ~ James

    My Craigslist Score....

I finally got lucky and hit a pretty good Craigslist score. I ocassionally chekc craigslist for fridges, mostly with little to no luck. Yesterday, I finally got lucky. I saw an ad for a "norcold dual voltage fridge/freezer". That was the only description, and there were two crappy cell phone...

Survival Sack: When things go bad...

Looks like 3/8 size (roughly 19,000 pounds strength?) Masterpull synthetic to me in the pictures. Regardless, it looks like quality rope, however if the river was flowing well enough to carry the truck down stream, I doubt much would have held it. On the same note, it doesnt seem like he would...

Survival Sack: When things go bad...

This is a good point. I usually use my wireless controller, which I assume will be useless in this situation. My back up normal/wired remote is buried in with the vehicle spare parts... no way I could get to it in a hurry. I am thinking this may change. I wonder why the winch rope broke so...

    Homemade Roofracks.

Awesome rack 4307! One question though, I am assuming you had a typ when you said 55 "fogs"? Did you mean driving light beams? Fogs would be a bad choice for spread pattern up there. I made a mistake (grabbed the wrong set off the bench) and put the fog pattern on the rear of my rack for back up...
