I let the furnace run for about five hours, unplugged from shore power, no solar. It took an hour to heat it from 30 to 60° but after that it stayed warm for a while before the furnace would kick back on. Looks like the furnace pulls about 7 amps when it’s running and the TV and radio pull about...
I can't figure out what size cable/ breaker to use.
If I mount the inverter inside the front of my topper that should be about 15' from the battery. The inverter would be 1500w. That's about 120 amps DC. I tried to use the online calculators/charts and I can't figure out if there taking into...
If you decide to change wheels remember that Chevy changed from the old style eight lug pattern to a metric pattern in 2011 trucks. All of the eight lug suburban are the old pattern.
I have the air compressor listed below and it took me over an hour to air my tires from 50 to 80. Make sure you have a good compressor if you don't already.

My converter's output is 60 amp x 1.5 = 90 amp. 90amp *13v = 1215. I would need an inverter that's at least 1200w then? I have dual batteries and a 160amp alternator. Would that keep up with an extra 90amp draw? That would be max draw and probably less than 30-60 min so probably?
The auto lockers are good for most people who don't want to learn what switches/buttons do. I like my G80 but it would probably get annoying on extended trail use, waiting for it to kick in.
I would guess your isolator isn't working or your wires to the auxiliary battery are so undersized that you're getting too much voltage drop. Measure the voltage at the cranking battery and at the auxiliary battery to see what the voltage drop is. Can you read any numbers on the auxiliary...

The 7 lug trucks still are out there (as of 2014 at least)but they're rare.
I thought the HDPP was long bed only and had the odd 7 lug axles. I now see some that don't have those characteristics but are still being called HDPP. Are the 7 lug trucks the only true HDPP or not?
The green wire in this image goes down to the frame and bolts to it(this is a ground). The not pictured factory 6awg uses the same bolt and continues the run back to the converter/charger. The only groung I have going to the batteries the blue/purple marked wire. So I think I'm good then?
