I use this, two sources for heat. Either place near campfire(rubber feet can be removed) or plug the heater element into your 12v cig plug.
No power wires, or any complicated things to break. Runs off CO2 or on board air. 20psi works nicely and holds 5 gallons. Since its food grade...
Hopefully by next year I will be able to lock the front and join you guys. I dont want to be the one that slows everyone down by getting winched all the time. Lets hope a TT is enough, I cant justify the expense of an ARB over a TT

Try CL, these things suck to ship. Mine is also around 50lbs or more. Only reason i bought it was there was no shipping, and the seller was in a similar situation and let it go for real cheap.

Good luck with the sale.
I recently picked up one of cabela behemoth tents like 14 or 16' long for when we have a few people camping.
You are right though, these tents dont get used often and especially if you are working up a RTT its time to let it go.

Get a good bottle jack with a relatively smaller footprint. Buy a highlift and hilift base for when you go exploring. Use the hilift base as a base for the bottle jack(will provide an additional 1.5" of height). This is what all the LR guys do.

You can get d1 SD racks for $500 all day long. A little more for the D2. Also factor in the lost mpg.
I thought my mpg was better. Stupid scangauge says i average 9mpg. Figure you will lose 1.5mpg with a rack.

Bridging ladders? Lots of people have them. They are made from psp(perforated steel plating), aluminum or reinforced fiberglass.
I used to have a set that I bought used, original army stockthat was used for deploying temporary runways. They get pretty heavy unless you use fiberglass

An old aluminum tank will give you 5 gallons and all the hoses are fully nest able. You can heat it on a campfire(once rubber feet are removed) or wire an inline hot water heating element.

Rubber feet can be removed fairly easily, use jb weld or have any muffler weld on a simple section of 6" tube as a base.
Or you could weld up a bung for an immersion heater which is how I run it. Just connect to any 12v power source.

If he changed the rear diff and it looked good, i would be leery to think that the diff is going. Usually you see some metallic mud or worse before it goes.
Drive the rig and touch each of the rear wheels, if one is hotter than the other it could signal, brake/bearing/hub issues. Sounding...
