Putting a trailer in the flatbed would let you use it for camping for a few months until you had all your box supplies together. This would also give you a chance to see what you would like or not like in your custom made camper. Looks to be a nice project.
Exactly. Your heads are probably fine, nothing a headgasket set can't fix. With the heads off have them checked for leaks and resurfaced by a machine shop.
Its nice to have one rig for your wheeling/camping/fun and then your daily driver that gets you back and forth to work. Its a lot less stress to realize you can get home late sunday nite, park your expo rig, and unpack and clean it later that week because you have another car to take you to...
And interior re-do!!:) The front seat picture looks like pack rats have been living there for a while. I wonder what he wants for it, it seems alot of older vehicles out here in CA are overpriced for their condition. I would probably offer him scrap price for it.
