May be true, but those CR-Vs have horrible insulation to begin with. Ours was noisy always. They could certainly benefit from some added after market noise damping.

Had a 2000 that was awesome in snow....passed many stuck full-sized 4WD "real trucks" the morning after a big dump. Honda has a way a making their rigs bigger on the inside than the outside size would suggest.

I met the builder today, nice guy. Impressive build. The headliner wasn't in so I could see the inner structure. Forgot to ask him about the frame.

I've seen a bunch of them, but none of this vintage.

I drove and worked on the Honda version, the Passport, when they first came out and was very impressed. The 3.2 seemed pretty gutsy.

I was thinking they should use one of their 3rd world designed ranger platforms and build a pickup and retro styled bronco for the domestic market with a diesel for each to help distribute costs. Does that sound plausible?
