i've been on mallcrawlin. i can't decided what to do for a rear axle. the 35c will most likely die. i'm going to upgrade the front with tube incerts and stronger shafts. or get one off a XJ with a D44 rear and HP D30 front. decisions, decisions.

alright. we'll see how it goes today. i got an 18# radiator cap and installed it. changed the spark plugs, took about 30 minutes to get the old crapions out and installed some new autolites. i'm off the mountains to go do some hiking for the rest of the day. maybe i can get some action shots.

learned a few things today. i noticed the other day my temp was fluctuating a lot. i went over a pass and stopped for a pee break. i came back steam was coming out from under the hood. i figured out mt radiator cap is shot. i filled it with some water out of a stream. made it home...

i found two ZJ's in my friends junkyard with the I6 and the part time transfer-case. is this a direct swap for my V8?

does it bolt up to the auto tranny in the 5.2L? what vehicle do i need to get one out of? thanks i've finally got a day off, so i'm going to go out to the junkyard and look for a tcase tomorrow

it has the 249 transfer case. looks like a part-time case is in the works.

i have some binding up front. not sure what is going on yet. hopefully its not the t-case. any ideas?

so far this thing is great. i fixed the windows. my switch was full of dirt. i cleaned it with some electrical cleaner, now all the windows roll down just fine. i thought my alternator was dying, but the gauge is not correct. i used my volt meter at the battery and i'm getting 14.3 volts at...

so today i changed the oil and filter. man the oil was horrible. there was tons of parafin in it. i think it was probably pennsoil or some other crappy oil. I was at Walmart today to get oil. I found they were selling 1 gallon jugs of Mobil 1 10w30 oil for $21. I picked on up and a Mopar...

i think mine may already have upcountry springs on it. looking at others around town here, it looks taller then those.
