i have not driven the superlift kit. i have used a budget kit and it was alright. i upgraded to the OME kit and it was awesome. it rode very well and was much better off road. i actually got about 3 inches of lift with my OEM kit. the spring rates are perfect for off-road and on.

i need a lift kit, but other then that mine is really complete and in good shape. i have the same oil pressure issues. at idle its usually at 7 psi. i'm not sure if its my crappy mechanical gauge or just the pump. the timing cover was in great shape before i put it back on for the rebuild.

i like to keep it simple. less crap to break and leave you stranded. i have a 78 wagoneer. i can carry all the tools i need for it to fix it in the field in one tool bag. its extremely easy to work on, no computer crap to leave me dead in the water. today my power steering belt came off...

well, i started painting it. the bottom of the windows and up will be black, the rest will be grey. i have to repaint the hood grey as well. not really expo colors, but its hard to see it at night.:elkgrin:

its funny, but i loved my 4.7 V8. of course i did rev it to 5000 rpm on occasion. the biggest disappointment was the computer kicking in and cutting off the power when you needed in snow and mud. i can't tell you how many times that got me stock. i usually got 17 mpg out of my commander...
