Source for Lagun table mount in USA?

Truck Camper Warehouse works very closely with the Northstar factory and keeps the Laguns in stock, I'm sure they'd be happy to ship one.

Rubber mat between the camper and truck?

One thing no one has mentioned here: a rubber mat also acts like a gasket, by crushing a little, it allows/keeps proper tension on your turnbuckles.

    Tc650 owners-Tundra/Silverado/f150?

All the camper places will tell you "this is the lightest camper! half ton all the way!" ... and they're right, but only because all the other truck campers are such pigs! I bought my TC650 early last year and put it on my 2011 F150; a sweet truck, not with the HD package, but with a decent...

    New (to us) Northstar TC650EC

Thanks for the detail photos on the leg. I wonder if the new Northstars with a Lagun have extra material in that wall? I know they don't thru-bolt.

    New (to us) Northstar TC650EC

To be clear: you drilled all the way through the wall? I was almost going there with my thinking too, since that wall is thin and the vertical studs fairly few, but stopped short because it seemed a bit overkill.

    New (to us) Northstar TC650EC

I still haven't had time to actually mount mine - can I ask what you mounted to? There's not a whole lot of material on that wall.

    Driving with tailgate down/open

ensworth - what do you use for a step with that hitch-mounted rack? Just the rack itself? I would think those grates aren't strong/robust enough.

Ram 2500 over GVW with a FWC Hawk!

It sure does! I was pretty underwhelmed by the "on paper" capability of our new F250, but in practice, it handles/feels so much better than the F150 did. What's that saying about buying WAY more truck than you think you need?

    Driving with tailgate down/open

Ensworth: that is a sweet setup! I'm actually considering spacing the camper back a few inches so it just sits on the gate. Another user here actually did it with a tc650 and f250 because his camper had the half-wrap and wouldn't clear otherwise. Would make for a little extra storage up front...

Rubber mat between the camper and truck?

I can't find it online anywhere, but I'm pretty sure I remember the instructions for my Torklift tie-downs going so far as to say that NOT using a rubber mat voids, or at least affects their warranty.

    Driving with tailgate down/open

Well, Chris, don't hold back! No, the Ford doesn't have a spring assist. And, yes, I have heard the gate bounce up and down, pretty forcibly over some bigger bumps. Do I have proof? No. But if there's easy fixes (which there is, we now know), I'd rather not worry about it banging into the...

    Driving with tailgate down/open

The hawk sits on the tailgate? My TC650 is wholly in the bed, so it doesn't hold the gate down at all. I guess, I'm not sure what you mean. The only fifth-wheel tailgate I'm familiar with is nothing more than a tailgate replacement with a center cutout:

    Driving with tailgate down/open

Sweet truck, Bob! I was hoping I could close the gate on the F250 too, since it's a few inches longer than the F150, but, no go. I think I found a really easy solution: 1) tailgate lock, to make sure it can't come off paired with, 2) lift assist kit, where I replace the strut with a solid...

    Driving with tailgate down/open

Scissor steps: yup, they're nice, I'm familiar with them. Bob: that's exactly why I'm asking! There must be a mod or solution out there somewhere to keep the open tailgate in place... Again, that "front porch" feature is so nice! On the Ford, it's almost halfway open, so my tie-down would have...

    Driving with tailgate down/open

Our TC650 obviously doesn't rest on the tailgate of our recently acquired F250, but since it has the built-in step, I went ahead and left it on for the nearby camping trip we took this weekend. We actually really enjoyed having a "porch" to the camper, and the built in step is much better than...

    Camper and Truck Photos

I miss lots of things about my Ecoboost F150, but the TC650 is a much better fit to the crew cab F250. Driving with the [new] rig this weekend really made me wonder what I was thinking hauling the weight with a 1/2 ton! Lots of trips planned, so I hope to get some better "action" shots soon.

    Northstar 650 table wobble fix

They did. Since 2014, most come with a Lagun table leg. A few of us have bought one and made the upgrade (not cheap, but worth it, this thing is solid and really extends how you can use your table with the huge range of motion)...
