Ford 10 speed with regear anyone done it yet

Contact your local driveline or gear shop. They should be able to calculate what the RPM will be at a certain MPH with different gear/tire/trans. I regeared to 4.56 and my guy sent me the RPM at 65 MPH with 4.10, 4.56 and 4.88 Different truck, of course, but my guy said he would not do...

Need ideas to carry motorcycle and bikes at speed. Off-road capable.

Would probably be easier to buy an existing open or closed trailer that will fit what you're looking for and modify what's necessary from there i.e. axle, wheels, tires, etc. And how did this thread go from a question to assuming he's going 80MPH+ lol.

Good Luck Trying to Trade In Your ‘22-23 Tundra ☹️

Big moment for Toyota on how they handle this. I feel like they'll make it right in the long run but this also feels very 6.0 Ford Diesel motor in the long run. I feel bad for the truck owners.

    Scout pop-up

Curious, why is that price reasonable to you? I saw the price and thought it was absurd. Perhaps I missed something.

Tarp Under Tent - Common Practice?

Yup! Use one here as well! Keeps it's cleaner and prevents any type of puncture. On the contrary to what Nwoods said, I bring a tarp that is bigger than my tent so I have a place to put stuff and things so it is not on the dirt or ground or whatever. He makes a good point regarding rain but...

Frustrated Dealers May Succeed in Getting Corp to Reduce Ram Truck and Jeep Prices

Even base model trucks. Like bare bones are still 50k. It's ridiculous.

Is Offroading in a SuperDuty Really That Bad?

I'm not totally in the know with super duty suspension but here's my thought. Can you piece together suspension components from various companies to make the ride better? Like different leaf springs, coils, airbags, steering stabilizer, etc? Even then, a Carli backcountry system is only like...

    Offroad jacks... really?

I like them and have seen them in use. The work great and apparently the quality is fantastic and warranty/customer service is top notch....which would be enough for me. But I have no practical use for one other than thinking I look cool. I bring a large bottle jack and a 2 foot section of a...

What online tools do you use for long (road) trip planning?

I use Onx for everything travel related. Last time I did a long trip, I had it from the meet up point in San Diego going to the desert and north through J Tree and then home. Multiple way points to check out spots if they would be good for future camping. I find it much easier than any other...

New truck build: RTT vs Wedge vs Pop-up camper?

Check out OVRLNDFX4 and his IG page. His truck is siiiiick. I wish I could have a Project M. That would be ideal for me. I've been tent camping with the toddler and wife. We have yet to go with toddler and 9 month old for an overnight trip but I imagine we'll just get a bigger tent. Tent is...

    Darko: 2024 Ram 2500

Nice truck! I have also heard great things about Smartcap. Have you considered a GFC or something similar? Best of both worlds if you ask me. I had a fiberglass shell on my old F150 and liked it enough to not get rid of it but definitely didn't love it. GFC allows for secure storage and a place...

Would an Extra $5,000+ Make a Difference?

I cant imagine it would make that much of a difference for the majority of people. It's still stupid expensive for a small truck. I'll throw out a number and say it will sway 2%-3% of people who are considering a Rivian. I have a two friends that have them and they absolutely love them...
