Having discussions with the previous owner of our new to us fuso he chased the cupping tire issue in the front. Rotation to smooth them out seems to be about the only answer. In talking with a truck alignment expert locally he said that one could expect cupping running the open shoulder...
As this thread continues it becomes evident that, as far as large professionally built expedition vehicles go, there is very very little experiential knowledge here on this forum. Now ask about a daily driver toyota double cab, land cruiser or a montero....
I sold my 1200 GSA a couple years ago after 60k miles; many trips across the US and Canada, as far north as the Arctic Circle and as far south as Central America. Loved that thing, but it was a little rough for the wife on the back for road trips. Replaced it with a Goldwing (wife loves this)...

Haha I love it. Ask for advice, hear a lot that you don't want to hear from people who have done it (from which us are asking advice) and then blow it off. Too funny.
After taking a look at the gxv fuso (awesome actually) it was quite clear that it took some work to pull this off. The canvas fold in looks quite simple in comparison.
I expect close to 0 people have owned both to give you a comparison. Maybe 1 or 2 have driven both for long enough to give you a comparison, maybe. A few folks have seen and walked through both at the shows.

Although (far too) many on this forum seem to think that their opinions are facts, many still understand that ones opinion is just that.
I think that some experienced opinions would be great about some of the pros and cons one might find, realizing that one persons pro is another persons...
I always suggest professional advice. It is not reasonable to expect proper technical solutions/advice without someone knowing exactly what you have done, how you did it, and how you plan to load your vehicle. Loading behind the rear axle completely changes the stresses within the frame...
