Thanks man. I can't take much credit for it, Tim Morrissey is who I sort of modeled this from... his videos are pretty good, especially the ones on redoing the fabric himself (him and his wife)! My fabric is shorter at 21" only so the tubes are significantly smaller on mine.

Funny thing...I noticed that yesterday, that I mounted them upside down. My son actually pointed that out to me as well.
I don't know what I was thinking? Thanks for the heads up and good catch.
Thanks for the encouragement sir. Yeah, it has been hard to get back on track. Lots of little things to do, but its coming along.
I can't wait to get the roof completed and to get all of the mechanical systems done. I am really looking forward to actually using it. Heh
Need to get warranty...
Next up... the lift system. What a PITA this was to sort out. Lots of head scratching and going back and forth. It is not 100% what I wanted, but it works. Still needs a bit of tweaking too. I still think going to a linear actuator lift system is the way to go so I will likely use this for now...
Ok, so I finally managed to get some work done, including a little design work and some fab work or sorts. I was contemplating how to make some awning brackets, as I was not able to find anything for flat mounting to the slab side of the camper. Lots of rack mount style brackets, nothing I could...
I have been following those guys for a while now... and the new build is fantastic. Makes me want a sprinter! Or a Promaster... or, well a van. My daugther still wants to live in a Van, and I am totally supportive of that. heh
Cool partnership with Eamon and Bec.
You sell an entry door for Trailers or Tear Drop's too don't you?
edit: Never mind, I went and looked it up myself. heh Do you have any of these in stock in Victoria that a guy could look at...
You should look into a solar generator, like the GOal Zero or Bluetti or similar. This way you can charge the batteries off of your panel all day and run your stuff all night.
Bluetti
Goal Zero
Lots of others out there, these 2 seem to get a pretty good review. The newest Bluetti units are...
Sigh... of course you do. And like 5 KM away too. Oops, I searched and searched online and came up with nearly nothing in Canada. Might need to work on that SEO for the site! ;)
Thanks Ducstrom, I checked their site and it said it was available for Pre Order. I always prefer to buy locally...
After much searching, and looking for a used Lagun online and having zero luck, I decided to simply buck up and buy a new one. Not really any retailers I could find in Canada with stock, so I ordered one in the US. Going to use Seawings Delivery again to get it shipped to a couple of miles from...
Thanks for the PM, will reply ASAP. Haven't been online much this past week... I am 'working from home' so 10 hours a day on the computer for work means I have almost no energy to get online for myself. heh
Thanks for the heads up. I have a great spot to mount this with a good place for backing and its going through 1/2" birch cabinet ply. Thanks for the offer on the bolts, will let you know!
Epic!
And no. Unless that pic said "Professional driver, closed course, special conditions, 2 safety helmets and a wrapped in bubble wrap in an 8 point safety harness. Do not attempt like ever".
