Heavy gauge wire/cable Crimp or Solder for Offroad use?

The problem with soldering big wire is getting enough heat to the connection fast enough to prevent damage to the insulation and/or jacket. Typical solder 60/40 flows well at 705 (tip temperature, the solder melts under 400), not enough heat and the solder won't flow well, too hot(torch) and you...

white UV stable caulk that tools well?

I picked up a couple tubes of the white OSI Quad from the Depot, only $5 and change per tube, is this the right stuff? Seems good per the label, bonds to most anything. Thanks again for the help Sent from my Passport

white UV stable caulk that tools well?

I'm looking for a good sealant that is white, UV stable and a bead can be nicely smoothed out. It's for around hose/electrical connections and clearance lights etc on a new build.(not on the roof) The camper is painted Aluminum. I have been using 3m 4000, but that was to seal between two...

I'm watching, looks good, I would like to get a box like that for my Ram/Alaskan eventually. From what I can see on my phone the paint looks like it came out really well. How much did you thin it, and with what? Keith Sent from my Passport

Can't get relay to work, feel like idiot.

Many of the Leds I bought for my camper use black as the positive. This is an industrial standard, but most people expect the black to be negative/chassis ground. Sent from my Passport

Thank you members and why it pays to do your homework.

If I recall from your other post, Rob told you they didn't do many 1/4 million dollar projects or use CAD, reading between the lines, it sounds like you insisted he produce drawings. He produced something that didn't meet your standards and you elected to go with GXV..... this is not exactly...
