2-Door JK JeepKitchen - AT Chaser - Globetrotter - National Luna build thread

I made my own holes after cutting/grinding all existing protrusions from the rear deck and making it as flat as I could. A clever guy might be able to sacrifice the rear seat and use that mounting system for a new flat area. Would be pretty cool.

I had some time to install the GS-220 in my JeepKitchen this weekend. Couple pictures for yall. I've been trying to find a way to haul a griddle for a long time (that doesn't take space from anything else). Success! Do any of you have this SP griddle? It seems to have some sort of shiny...

2-Door JK JeepKitchen - AT Chaser - Globetrotter - National Luna build thread

Thanks. The top drawer in the back is for tools (air, knives, etc.). I don't really carry any mechanic tools to speak of because I don't usually go far from home. Recovery gear would need to go in a bag on the back rack, but I haven't hauled any of that around yet either. :) Space is always an...

Procuring canvas to patch an Eezi Awn tent

I got in touch with Equipt today. They are going to do some digging and see if they can come up with something for me. I've been doing my own looking and found some 10 oz. rip-stop olive canvas, but it doesn't have poly or wax in it. If I could find some olive green or black 12 oz. wax...

That's a great idea. I must have missed the post. Wow, had no idea the price difference was that much between propane and iso. I'll be using propane for sure.

Grinding the bottom of a new stove? I'm thinking about grinding off the bottom ridge on the new GS-220 (the ridge that is rubbing against the iso can in this picture). Can anyone see a problem with that? Far as I can tell it serves no purpose. Rubs on the propane and will make mounting it to my...

Cool. Thanks for the visual. My GS-220 arrived and it's a very sexy stove. LOL. All that brushed stainless is awesome. I'll attempt to install it in the JeepKitchen this weekend and see how things go. My hope is that I can raise the drawer platform that the stove will sit on...to allow me to...

Procuring canvas to patch an Eezi Awn tent

I need to extend a vestibule on an Eezi Awn Globetrotter and repair some holes while I'm at it. This is a big deal because I will need to remove the tent from the frame in order to have a local fellow perform the repairs. Has anyone sourced olive canvas that is either the same or comparable to...

Looking for an Eezi-awn globe tracker review.

I have a Globetrotter (which is very, very similar) and am in the process of converting it to mount on top of my Jeep. The vestibule is THAT good. Comfort = better than a normal hardshell RTT due to thicker mattress, more length, more headroom, bigger windows, tougher screens Setup time tent =...

There is a little info about Drifta's sink setup at around 3 min into this video:

I really like your sink fix Riptide. I'm totally going to build a similar insert for my IGT and plan to use one of the new collapsible sink/buckets. Since I have a couple of Partner steel stoves I can provide a little comparison for you guys once my GS-220 shows up (and I've had some time to...

LOL. I've been looking at them, but I can't find a way to store one in my Jeep. Just too big. :(

Actually, yes. I pulled mine out yesterday to play with it (for the first time). It seems like it flames out when you put the tip down (nozzle going from vapor output to fluid output?). If I would light it while tipped down in "fluid output" it would keep working. I'm going to play with it again...

Good to know. I've got a GS-1000 on the "to-do" list as well. :) I have quick-release propane connectors on my 20 lbs. tank (like an air hose connector). They are really convenient. I suppose that it will take a manifold of some sort. Since the bulk of the hoses should be kept to a minimum...

I know this thread has some info about running Giga stoves from bulk propane. But, has anyone successfully converted a GS-220 to run off a single large propane tank? If so, could you provide some hints about the parts you used to split the line (and regulators, or whatever)? I intent to use iso...

Backcountry has the GS-220 on sale for 30% off today, so I ordered one. The site doesn't actually state if it's the 220 or 230 though. We will see. Now I'm looking for the single BBQ box.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered a 3 & 4 unit IGT with bags. It begins!

Well, I did it. Read the entire thread. Took two evenings. Mon Dieu! Still don't know what SP to buy next. Maybe it's time for some IGT stuff?
