I like simple- Detroit in lieu of ARBs, and Powertank for air. Yes, the tank needs filled occasionally, and some don't like Detroits. Nice truck, and envious trip plan! The flatbed is a great idea, though as said above, everyone is different. The FB allows much more flexibility, and as you said concerning locked storage boxes- priceless. Especially given said trip route... All the best, and I also second using it as much as...

Picked up a new one today- XLT 5.0 4x4 CC w/ 6.5' bed & e-locker. Great deal, decent allowance on trade, smooth and quiet... Can't wait to get her dirty ;-)

Thanks for the kind words David- this was a fun project, and a great owner that made good decisions after doing due diligence. No longer a nube in this arena- now just gotta get a little dirty ;-)

Long story short- had a new JK Unlimited that had dual top option, sold the JK, have a new top with frame and windows still in wrapper- removed from Jeep when new, never even opened, stored since. It is from a '11 if that matters... How about $500/OBRO??? PM if interested please.

Is the drawer system designed to remove the portion that occupies the back seat only? In other words, will the rear drawers remain if the rear seats are refitted? Thanks- nice job by the way...
