I haven't put a set on an older burb, but have on a newer SD, and found them to be a great solution for wife/kids(minor lift w/37s). If they don't make a specific application, it shouldn't be too difficult to alter a set to fit as it is just a two point mount. Best of luck!!

I thought the question was for one vehicle to be decided between the G and LR4. Given the fact the trails mentioned are moderate, and the primary role is DD, I believe the LR will provide a better alternative. However, if multiple vehicles is an option, that is another story to answer another...

Well, SOLD- kinda. Actually traded for a one owner 40k mile '08 LR3 at a Jeep dealership, and got a good wad of cash with the trade, so she is gone, and now in NH!!

Well, JK gone, but went with a one owner 40k mile '08 LR3- so smoooooth ;-) and did I mention quiet? The X is nice, and I understand their following, but I am way too deep in the LR arena I suppose.

I tried the switch a few years back from LR to G wagon, and while I loved the G, the potential cost of a higher mileage truck had me sell it just before 100k miles. I went back to a Defender at the time, but drive an LR3 as DD now, and must say I feel it superior in all the aspects you mention...

78Bronco pegged it, '78 & '79 Bronco- do some simple searches and you will see why, small model run, but very desirable, and tough to find in good condition.

I guess I was hedging my bet as I did Bilsteins with the ext on the fronts in the event I went back to stock, but not likely...
