    military or custom

If they fit your needs, the military has been unloading scores of 3/4-ton trailers. They're available all over the country. Craig

Your available time is something to also consider. For me, I planned on scratch-building a trailer, but found a M101A3 that was reasonably-priced, and is saving me a LOT of time. It'll also be perfect for my needs. Projects always seem to take twice as much money, and 3x as much time as...

From a TJ to a LJ?

I disagree. I have an '05 LJ (standard, non-Rubicon), and it's a LOT roomier than a TJ, or any earier model (YJ/CJ). I rolled off the lot with zero miles for $20,500 (new). :coffeedrink: I know Rubicons will be a premium, but that still sounds high for a 5-year-old vehicle. HERE'S ONE in...

    1x1_Speed_Craig's utility/camping trailer build_v2.0

:coffeedrink: No vacationing, but I have been working on the trailer. I got a safety chain "loop" welded on, and reused the stock safety chains & hooks. I'm about 2 days from posting pics of the re-worked tongue, which I have spent about a week plus wire-wheeling, sanding & painting. I...

    Craigslist: Interesting WW2 military trailer

Not mine...just saw it online, and was intrigued by the unique style (haven't seen one like this before). This one's located in SW Michigan. http://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/cto/1842433984.html

    1x1_Speed_Craig's utility/camping trailer build_v2.0

Hey Flyn, I pulled the trailer back from Kentucky to Michigan when I bought it, but I haven't pulled it yet with the new set-up. I still have to finish-weld the spring perches, and make some lower shock mounts. I had a pick of several A2s and A3s when I bought this. The axle was going to be...

M101A3 military trailer parts & Firestone air bags/AT parts

Sale pending on some of the items above (original post has been updated). I still have the axle/hand brakes, as well as the lunette/surge brake available. I'd like to get these out of the garage in the next 3-4 weeks. Thanks, Craig

Thanks Josh. UPDATE: No updated pics, but I did get the tongue removed from the trailer, and got the round tube mount for the jack welded on. I also did a little more grinding, and started wire-wheeling the paint off the tongue in preparation for cleaning & painting with POR-15. Hopefully, I...

Very nice! Where did you get the plastic end plugs for the rectangular tubing? It caps them off nicely. Craig

CAS - I'm 99% certain that the landing gear/jack is spoken for. However, I haven't had any bites yet on the axle and/or hand brakes. Shoot me an offer on the hand brakes/cables if you're interested in just them, and we'll go from there. Thanks! Craig

NO LONGER AVAILABLE *NEW* 2004-2006 Unlimited (LJ) Rubicon rocker guards (NIB) - $150

I have a set of NEW never-installed Jeep Unlimited (LJ) Rubicon rocker guards (black treadplate) that I originally planned on installing on my LJ. They're genuine Mopar parts that'll fit 2004-2006 model years. I bought them in 2005 two weeks after buying my Jeep, but never installed them -...

    Disc trailer brakes?

So, I'm surfing e-trailer.com, and stumbled across disc brake sets for trailers. I want to eventually run electric brakes on my trailer, but have only ever seen drum brakes. Is anyone running discs? Impressions? Craig

    Craigslist Find Saturday Morning

I agree that ABC Trailer can hook you up at a good value. My 3500-lb. axle from ABC, which included Ultra Lube spindles (+$10) and custom spring perch width (+10) was about $165, IIRC. Craig

    Hydroplaning KM2s

I have about 12K on my 31" KM2s (installed about 15 months ago on my '05 Jeep LJ), and have had no issues in rain whatsoever. However, I can't speak for snow, as I store my Jeep in the winters. Craig

    1x1_Speed_Craig's utility/camping trailer build_v2.0

Thanks Pat. It's 3/16" plate. It's actually built by a fabricator for Adventure Trailers. They sell them for $50...well worth it, IMO. It saved me a considerable amount of time scratch-building one, and the design worked out very nicely. Craig
