This is the correct side for the T-Case shifter with a 5 speed. Exactly how my '92 looks. (almost the entire interior!)

Sorry. I can't say for sure if the '98 Montero Sport is a 9" or 9.5" but I am pretty sure it is a leaf spring axle. Your '95 is a coil spring axle, wheel to wheel they are not a bolt in swap. Your LS should be a 9" being it is a 3.0L. I am pretty sure the SR 9.5" has 1 axle shaft shorter...

Are you planning to swap the entire rear differential - Everything between the wheels? Not sure if the Sport full assembly will fit the full size Gen 2 chassis. Pretty sure the 3rd member (center section) won't fit either. Isn't the '98 Sport a Leaf Sprung unit?

Excellent starting point. Nice early Gen 2 SWB, too bad we can't get these here (yet). Too bad its a RHD. Guessing its cheap - really cheap. Looks like some rust and has been bumped around a bit.

Here are photos of the 3.0l bolt along side the longer 3.5l/3.8l bolt. When you install the washer, make sure the ID chamfer is towards the bolt head.

In general - the 4D55 came in front of the km145 (same gas 4 cylinder 5 speed transmission) and the 4D56 came in front of the V5MT1 (same V6 5 speed transmission except has a 4 cylinder bellhousing pattern). So - either engine can be combined with either transmission if you have the correct...

I hired an upholstery guy off craigslist. He did a great job stitching new hides on both the '92 and '93. $150 labor per seat and $300 for the "couch" in the back of the '93. I supplied the hides. (Ebay)
