PM frequency on the timing belt is every 60K miles, so with 130K unknown change interval, your probably over due, your going to want to freshen the water pump and tensioner too.
I had these on my '05 Montero (monocoque chassis) for about 30K miles. Pretty loud on this chassis. Moved them over to my '92 (on frame chassis) and are silent. On both vehicles the tires give a really stable feeling on the highway and are excellent in all conditions that I have driven them.
Bumping this up to the front page. Received the shipping quote today and is less than I thought. How often does that happen? I very confident these will be slightly under $3800 each. Although still waiting for info on import tax/duty (if any). Need to have 4 committed.
I used a "crows foot" style O2 sensor socket and Kanolabs - Kroil - all 4 in my '05 came right out. Maybe an hour to do all 4. Hardest thing was to get the connector un-done in the tunnel sorta above the transmission on the driver side. (LHD)
