This trailer has been through a few changes. We picked up an ARB awning and room and used it like this a few times and plan to again this coming weekend:
I worked on an upgrade yesterday that I am still in the middle of. Was supposed to be a simple bolt on and go but turned into a grinder...
We are talking about a jeep with a v8, so mileage? Go for the 4.10 and have the jeep as it is intended (even if jeep never built it that way!). I cannot see you feeling any regret over the decision once you are wheeling it.
Thanks Dan... replying all the way from Africa... :smiley_drive: Crazy world we are in...
I have just recently picked up a slide in camper for my wife's 2wd Tacoma and am hoping we'll get a Jeep pick up with some true pick up capability in regard to bed size and payload... with some jeep...
This is a great thread with great and useful ideas. My wife and I just picked up a 2008 Northstar MC600 and we love it so far, and just getting started. Great ideas here.
More Wheeling with Joe. This time at Big Creek with some of the other Uwharrie Jeep Jamboree Trail Guides. Probably the most technical wheeling Joe has ever done. You can see by his situation on the ride home, he had quite the day.
This is a great build, well documented and inspirational. I saw that you used 3/4" ply on the bottom, but I did not notice what sizes you used for walls and roof. Thanks for any info you can share.
My wife and I are in the throws of deciding to keep looking for a trailer that fits our needs...

I got my 90w panels from there. Brian, the owner is great to help you figure out what you need to suit your requirements.
Yup, I raised our older boy (now 22, serving in the USAF) with most of our vacations and free time in or under (!) a jeep. Teaches a whole different set of skills and values than most of what is out there today I think.
Certainly a good time was had by all, but this was the first time Joe really dug a little more aggressive wheeling compared to other trips. I see me getting a little back to my roots with his enthusiasm for tackling more difficult obstacles.
