    2005 Rubicon LJ

Nice Jim. Turns out I did not have the OPDA set exactly correct... it started throwing codes, so I took it to my mechanic and he straightened thing out for me... for $20. Should have just taken it to him to start with. Not sure what's next for the Jeep. Will be going to AAV and Expo east...

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Quick update on my jeep. I replaced the OPDA last week with the crown unit... I had one short incident of the "Laughing Monkeys" and luckily had the OPDA on hand to replace. Also last night went ahead and removed the Macs Cold Air Intake and replaced it with the stock unit. I have had good...

Jeep Commander as an expo vehicle?

Betting there is more room than in my LJ :-) Are you still in the Raeford area? Any chance I can look over your rig some time?

LTT-MCC Marine Corps Chassis Overland Trailer Build

Nice score. Eager to see your plans. I have a buddy in SC who built a sweet camper on that exact same trailer. Very stout. Semper Fi brother.

Jeep Commander as an expo vehicle?

Yes - I see that options are limited. Looks like there are some but not much... Can someone compare the interior room between the Commander and a Grand Cherokee of the same vintage?

Jeep Commander as an expo vehicle?

Back from the dead! Great info here... We are considering a Commander... looks like anything with a v8 the QD2 will suit our needs of a general overlanding, camping, light trailer towing, work on the farm kind of rig... with the Hemi an important but not necessarily needed option... Would armor...

A "minimal" solar kit for a nOOb? (LONG!)

Martin - your set up should work just fine for your purposes. We run our Indel B 50 and the trailer interior lights and water pump off our trailer house battery and 45w panels. Never had an issue. There are experts with far more knowledge than mine here, but it has worked for us. We take...

I may be interested in the tent if Eddie takes the trailer. Have you thought about prices if separate? John

    My Matching Sport Trac Trailer

Trailer and truck look awesome. Keep working that weight distribution and you'll get the waggle worked out. Might take a moment to measure to make sure the tongue, frame and axle are all square. Can make a big difference.

    1968 VW camper

Not mine. No affiliation. Looks like a restoration with original interior that is ready to be reassembled. Great price if you are ready to do the work. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/5612187971.html John

    The art of compromise

The shore power and the 12v system are working well together, but I wanted to add some 12v outlets. I decided to build a separate 12v system since the rest of it seems to be working well, and I am not 100% on messing with it. Spent a few days collecting all the pieces I need... Wired in the...
