I am in the midst of researching replacing the axle on my bantam tc3. Main reason is to match the bolt pattern on my Jeep LJ, so I need an axle with a 4.5x5 pattern. Just need a good straight axle, with hubs, complete and ready to bolt on. I will be sticking with the stock springs. Suggestions?
Great work on this jeep. I like how you are sticking with the aluminum keeping things light as possible. Can you detail out what you did with your exhaust? You said earlier that you "pieced together exhaust from Advanced"
Thanks
John
Gas tank looks awesome. Congrats on getting the jeep out and using it.
Tummy tuck is an excellent modification. The shovel of a transfer case skid is the number one place TJ's get caught. TT's usually require a body lift. Rokmen has a 1/2" BL that is barely noticable. They also then have...
I just retired a set of KM2's with right at 40k miles on them. They are a fine highway tire in my opinion. Keep them rotated and watch the tire pressure for those long highway hauls. All that being said this time around I went back to an AT tread. Fits the majority of my usage better.
My wife and I spent a considerable amount of time looking at them at Expo East. Super well built and thought out. Simple designs. When the time comes to replace our T@B I think we will head in this direction.
Wow! Congrats on the changes. I saw a Patriot just on Friday with a mild lift and all terrains that looked really good. Seems like with a lttle work and avoiding the really tough trails, the patriot could get you 90% of places you might want to go.
Good luck with it.

Semper Fi brother... that is all :safari-rig:
I agree with the concept of an RTT up top with an attached room. We did not go that route (wife wanted a hard side camper) but a buddy with 2 little ones did. He and wife are up top, kiddos on cots in the annex. Slick set up.

Will try to make it if it does not conflict with one of Ann's talks (sorry Bill you are second fiddle to my wife... thank God)... but I would really like to attend that roundtable.

Thanks guys! After a day or so of driving, I have brought the front tires back up to 35# and that seems about right. Tires were getting loud at 30# for some reason. We had some good rain today and I can say that these tires are solid in the wet.
