Just an update. I had email edgestar and told them of my trouble. They called back once and I missed the call. Ive been so busy and distracted i havent called back.
Every day I walk out to the 4runner and the fridge is showing high temps and it not working. I start the truck and a few seconds...
I dont think its the volts because when It started acting up again I used my inverter and powered it with A/C power and it did the same thing.
Basically Ive noticed it on 2 occasions, where the temps are higher then what I set it at and I realize that the motor isn't running. So I unplug it...
Has anyone ran into trouble with there edgestar? Mine seems to has some problems. Normally its great but sometimes The motor wont turn on when it should. I have it set for 36 and right now its at 44. every once and a while I can hear the motor turn on for a few second and turn back off...
HOLY CRAP! mine isnt anything even close to the size of that one. I would have replaced by now if it was that bad lol. Mine is on the rear and it only a little bigger than the original picture. It hasnt grown or changed in a year.
Prob not the smartest thing to do but my frontier has a BFG all terrain and its had a bulge like that for prob a year now. It may eventually die on me but I think Ill keep going with it. I dont want one new tire and 3 old ones so Ill ride it out and replace them all some day.
Mines worst than...
So my smittybuilt 2.5 gal tank and pressure relay arrived last week. Ive been super busy with finals for school but I should get eveything finished up soon. Its a little harder than I though it would be finding the proper fittings needed for the install. I will be tapping out my MV-50 pump for...
for me the most important thing would be the newer interior, I needed good cup holders. I ended up with a 02 so I have the awd and automatic. 01 and 02 were all auto's. If I found a clean 00 with 5 speed and locker id rather have that over the awd and auto tranny. but either way you will be...
So I had the afternoon off and I decided i might as well get the Rear Diff Breather mod done and out of the way. after reading a few others post I ordered the parts i needed last week.

So I finally got around to installing the 1000w inverter. I pulled the #6 wire and ran a #4 from the second battery. So the inverter and blue sea fuse box is running off the second battery
This is whats under my seat now :)
Good eye, Yea I have my 6 gage fused that goes into the cab to the blue sea fuse. I dont think a fuse is really necessary for the 2gage connecting battery's but I guess it would not hurt to throw in a fuse at the battery. would need to be a beast of a fuse with 2gage though. what would you think...
And now for the Dual Battery setup!! This is my favorite mod and the one Ive been looking forward to the most. Ive just been pushing it off since I knew how much work it would be since i had to fabricate my own tray and everything. This took up most of my day today. i spent my easter building...
While I had the rear panels off, I decided to mess with the air pump location. I saw this setup from another member's build and I liked it so much that I will copy him :). It will get mounted here when im ready to hardwire the air pump.
Friday I drove out to the Ham Radio Outlet store in burbank and picked up all the things needed to finish the radio install. Guy at the store talked me into a rear hatch clamp style antenna mount. Im really happy with how it turned out and It seems to be working alright. swr is 1.2 or below on...
