Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

Just to recap this thread. Ended up buying 2021 apex nano 208bhs. Dry 4150 and 25ft long. So far 4runner pulling it well. I added a tranny cooler as the temps got kind of high on hills. WDH, sway control and P3 brake control keeps the trailer in check. Two weeks in from a Phx to Yakima...

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

Wow! This thread has taken off. Amazed at how active the subject is. I want to thank everyone for bringing some different models and brands into the mix. I'm still set on the ones I was originally looking at because of size and availability. I would love some of these smaller ones but the...

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

That is another option. Hotels is just easier to say. Anyway, really hoping a apex 194 bhs comes in that is on order at Toms Camperland in the next week. Kind of like that one from the videos I have seen. Runners up are no bo 16.6 and jayco 184bh. Have accepted that they are all basically...

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

Agreed, worst possible time to be searching for one to buy as inventory is low. Sold house and need to be out in a few days so if no trailer then we are in hotels. I would just start driving the 4Runner north and utilize the rtt but wife not on board with that.

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

I know, hard to stay under with what is acutally available at the moment along with what we would want. Targeting the apex nano 194bhs also which runs 22.7 from hitch to bumper.

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

Agreed, have heard good things about those Lance trailers. The window up front is what attracts me to the nobo 16.6 even though it is just a dressed up trailer to look offroad.

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

That is a good idea. Issue is I need this thing quick. If I were doing it my way I would buy an old shuttle bus and convert that. Then tow my rig behind that. Still might do that but need a trailer to live in for the next few months. Just amazed at all the crap trailers being sold out there.

Are there any good fully enclosed travel trailers?

I'm looking for a small but biggest travel trailer I can get to haul with my 03 v8 4runner. There are options with several manufacturers but all of them seem like they are poorly built. Are there any decent models out there? Would like to drag it down a forest rd without it falling apart...

    3.4 TRD Supercharger users?

1st Gen Charger goes for about 1500 so not a steal. I bought one for 500 once, lol. So a Charger is like a pizza, you need the dough (charger) but then all the toppings (7th kit, Smaller pulley, AFR guage ect) which all ends up costing some major $$$.

Importing an 80 Series to the USA?

What are the pros and cons of importing one of these. Is the Turbo diesel worth it? I'm looking for another SUV. I drive a 1998 4x4 5speed Supercharged 4Runner.

Beating a dead horse: questions about high(ish) end suspensions-3rd gen 4runner

Just make sure you don't get the piggy backs. They are out of date but are still for sale. Contact icon and have them send you a list of all they have available. Most venders/ dealers have little idea what icon offers for our 3rd gen. Here is what I run... ICON 58610 Coilovers, ICON 57800...

Beating a dead horse: questions about high(ish) end suspensions-3rd gen 4runner

I have a 1998 5speed 4runner. After three years running stock I went with Icon during a sale last black friday. Front standard travel 2.5 and rear 2.5 w/ res and Ome 890 spring. Overall I love the ride. It handles nice on road comparded to my friends ss 1.2 (little body roll). Offroad once...

    Need a lift. Thinking ICON 1998 4Runner

Install complete. She sits 22" front and 23" rear. That is hub to fender measurements. Still needs an alignment so don't have ride feedback yet.

    Need a lift. Thinking ICON 1998 4Runner

Still waiting on the Icon stuff. Rethinking on the springs. Might sell the 2890s and buy 99 talls like you did. Do you have the part number from those springs? Did you buy them new or used?
