    CL, 2017 Expo Taco

That was definitely traded. 11k miles, no way the dealer would go so far as to add awnings etc. Lift/tire/bumper maybe, but they have no margin to gain from slapping all that other crap on.

    New gasser for Ford SD

I agree that a forced induction, direct injection, heavy built 7.0L plus gas V8 in the 500hp/700tq range would be where it's at for a HD pickup. Land Rover has had a 500/500 5.0L direct injected supercharged V8 for 7 years now and it is a multi hundred thousand mile engine no problem. Add...

    Espresso Machine in Trailer!?

I have this one, https://www.amazon.com/MicroSolar-Inverter-Battery-Remote-Controller/dp/B00GZBHFMY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1490818649&sr=8-4&keywords=microsolar+inverter I bought it a few years ago. I think it was about $300 at the time.

    Small Floor Jack?

Harbor Freight aluminum floor jack, there are some "skid plates" available that replace the wheels with a flat sheet of aluminum under the jack for off road use. But honestly, I would just carry a good bottle jack.

    Espresso Machine in Trailer!?

I run my Nespresso through my inverter all the time. I love it. The inverter is a 2000W/4000W pure sine and runs it no problemo. The best part is, it takes up very little room and I can stop, make espresso, back in the truck moving again in 3 minutes. I've even set it up within reach of the...

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

Dude, don't take this the wrong way - but you have many many accounts in this thread of people who know that it works, based on real world experience. You refute it based on theoretical opinion. Whats wrong with this picture?

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

I have experimented this with many different vehicles and I can conclusively say that vehicles with bigger brakes and higher torque engines left foot brake much more effectively. Many times I would drive my 2006 F350 diesel to the point it was completely cross axled and spinning opposite tires...

Safe to assume 5.6A constant draw, that should help you figure it all out.

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

We are in agreement on how a differential works and the forces involved. Also that traction control is effective. However, real world experiments of left foot braking deliver a much different result than your theorized outcome. How do you explain that?

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

Maybe think of it this way, How do you ensure both axle shafts turn the same speed with an open differential? Equal load on both axle shafts How do you apply equal load to both axle shafts?

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

You are correct, torque can only be applied where there is resistance. By applying resistance (by the brakes) evenly to both wheels, and then applying enough torque to overcome that resistance, both wheels will begin to turn at the same speed (as you noted, its how an open diff works). This...

Your logic is flawed :) Build yourself a model to illustrate.

Increase Traction w/o a rear locker? How?

You guys are thinking about this all wrong. Left foot braking works because what you are doing is equalizing the amount of force required to turn both wheels, exceeding the resistance generated y the single "stalled wheel". Think of it this way - it turning the wheel with traction will require...
