    That truck probably has a 140+ amp alternator from the factory along with a 800+ CCA battery. More than enough for 97% of all winching tasks on its own.

    So I've stumbled upon a great deal on an M205 front diff and M226 rear axle, already set up with ARBs and gears in both. Also found a pair of Pathfinder V8 front CV shafts to go with the M205 while keeping stock Xterra control arms. Unfortunately this means the helical LSD project is canceled...

    BFG MT's in snow and ice

    My KM2's are great on snowy roads. No tire will ever compare to a dedicated snow/ice tire (especially if it's studded) but I've been on these BFGs through 3 New England winters now and never once have the tires made me feel unsafe or caused me to slip/lose control.
