    Nikson's Unlimited Rubicon LJ build

The fact that it's a piece of metal is irrelavant...there is a Smittybuilt one that is of similar design and has gotten some bad reviews on quality...poor welds, too light of a guage of steel, etc...what I meant by liking it, was simply how it has performed and how it has held up(guess I...

    ARB Twin Cylinder compressor

No, I,m running stock Rubi lockers, but the compressor comes ready with harness to hook right up to the solenoid and switches of the ARB Lockers. My cost here in Canada was $500. This is a very well built unit, very well sealed to the elements and 100% duty cycle. Puts out over 6cfm at 0psi and...

    ARB Twin Cylinder compressor

In case anyone is interested in the ARB Twin High Output compressor, i thought I,d post my timed inflation of a 33"x12.5 tire on my jeep...1 minute and 45 seconds to go from 10PSI to 32PSI. Not to bad IMHO. I think I'm going to really like this compressor.

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

Question for you...can I put a toggle switch inline on the 12GA switched ignition line? Would I then be able to leave the switch in the off position and start the vehicle only using the starting battery if the second battery is badly drained by running too many accessories on overnight camping...

    Always open tire chuck

I thought I needed an always open tire chuck to prevent the pressure from building up and rupturing the hose or burning out the compressor, but an email to ARB confirmed that the Twin compressor has a built in pressure switch to prevent this from happening as some of you have already posted. So...

    Always open tire chuck

So, the ARB twin has a built in pressure switch that will shut down the compressor if no air is moving through an air hose? I did not recall that info being in the instructions. Yes the plug can be on the compressor, but as soon as you hook up the air hose with a closed chuck, the pressure will...

    Always open tire chuck

I need a tire chuck that is always open as I am running the ARB Twin high output compressor without a tank and pressure switch for now. Any suggestions for brands and where to get them...seems open chucks are not very common or I am just looking in the wrong places???? Thanks. RACKMAN

Best plywood type and size for drawer system?

Thanks. With that thin of a plywood, it seems like it would be hard to get screws into without accidently coming out the side...are you just glueing and finish nailing? Or are you using very small diameter wood screws like #6 or smaller?

Best plywood type and size for drawer system?

Hello all. Been out of overlanding and wheeling for a few years and just getting back into it with a 2005 Jeep rubicon LJ. I am outfitting it to be self-sufficient for up to 5 day camping trips in remote areas and for just general wheeling use. I am planning to build a drawer system and...
