Fiberglass M416/M100 Military-style Trailer Tub Kit

Jeff, I used to run a similar setup on my M416, using a vinyl coated wire rope that ran thru the grommets, at just the right length to be tight when locked thru two eyelets on each end, but with enough slack when unlocked to allow it to come off the tie downs. Wasn't going to stop anybody that...

    m101a BBQ Trailer

Hey, hey! I resemble that remark! :sombrero: . And why do we have a fuel can on the cooker? Mark, you find the wildest stuff! I used to think my GoogleFu was strong, but now I'm beginning to doubt... How do you find this stuff?

How do you decide - kitchen/lid access positioning?

One cool technique is to back into your camping spot, jack-knifing the trailer to the left, and using the trailer and whatever hatchback, tailgate, truck bed, etc. storage you have right along with the trailer. That implies a right-side opening. Folks who have right-hand drive vehicles might...

Fiberglass M416/M100 Military-style Trailer Tub Kit

Jeff, when you say both, would you use an adapter for the M416 like you described for your full cover, or would the length of the front and rear sections be adjusted to account for the M416 lip being on the outside of the tub?

M416 trailer tire thoughts.. Goodyear wrangler ST?

I've found that in situations like sand, that having a wider tread has given me better floatation. I run 12.5x33x15 on the YJ, and so run the same on the trailer, and have had no issues pulling the trailer through the deep silt as I had in the past with the military tires. Some tires are...

    M416 Expo Trailer

So many ideas in one place! I'd love to see some close-ups of the lid - hinge, corners, latches, etc. And your propane bottle mount too. Oh, and you've got a lot going on there in the tongue box too! What all's tucked inside? Really great trailer. You may have inspired me to finally...

    My xPo Trailer Build

Could we get a close up of the propane bottle holders on the rear? I keep finding ones for sale that are ridiculously priced, so thinking of making my own. Trailer looks fantastic!

    Expedition Trailer Concept Feedback, Please!

I've had similar thoughts for years - really like your design. The idea that it could be removed and stored, using the tub for utility hauling etc., is one aspect of using the M416 frame that appeals to me. . I'd want water tank, swing/slide out kitchen, water heater (small on-demand type)...

Portable Flooring for Campsite - what are you using?

I've discovered mesh tarps. Allows water to penetrate, which is nice for shower area, but also in that the tarp can be larger than the tent - and doesn't puddle underneath. In sand, it helps keep feet from tracking as much sand into the tent almost like a door mat (it's not perfect, but a lot...

    The Georgia Bantam build

I wonder if that logo is original? It looks cool either way. Maybe take a pic, add some dimensions and get somebody to make you a stencil to recreate it later. Very nice start!
