Most factory Chevy tint is 20% on the rear windows. My state is 35% for legal. So I do like Larry does and just match the front to the back and roll the dice to see if I get pulled over for something as little as tinted windows. Shoot I have friends with the windshield tinted 35%.

Doesn't your Suburban already have a tray for the extra battery? Maybe not, I am not sure of the last year available for a diesel. My 1997 has a tray and I just got the hold down from the junkyard. You could probably rob those parts off of an older one. Not sure what it looks like on the drivers...

I love their lights. I have 3 or 4. I have always stayed away from the cr 123. But any of the ones that take 2A and 3A(cant remember which models I have) are great. Never had to warranty one yet. Always lose them first. They are priced well on Amazon.

I love mine, its a 97 bought it about 6 months ago. Intake manifold gaskets (lower) go bad. If its never had a fuel pump, it will need one. Looks like that is the last year for manual shift transfer case which is good(mine is push button). Probably has the G80 factory locker, and has a 4L80E...

Like everyone else has said on here, the best finish comes from the prep work. Buy yourself a DA sander, money well spent. Also others have said don't take it all the way down to the metal. Every pro paint job prep work I have seen always still has a original paint on it. BC/CC is the only way...
