Some days at work are better than others - The 80 is my buddy Dewey's. There's still a ton of desert out here I need to explore.

2nd Gen Tacoma: Your favorite aluminum front bumper

Pelfreybilt for sure. One little thing is that the All Pro is just flat on top, while the Pelfreybilt conforms to the lines of a 12+. All Pro's bumpers were designed on an 05-11 and never changed for the updated body style. Plus Pelfreybilt has great customer service.

    Ikarus' Lightweight Access Cab Build

Been a little too busy for the truck lately, as my friend and I imported a BMW e30 Touring from Germany - We're documenting the build on our youtube channel, which you can check out here: But I did order a Pelfreybilt front bumper, which should be here in February. Very excited for that...

    1993 Hilux in Guyana

I was actually down there on a church mission. Lived in Guyana for a year. The further away from Georgetown you get, the more rural it is. Down in Rosignol, Rose Hall, etc. you can find some trails that lead into the bush (rainforest.) It's awesome to just head down there and explore either...

    Ikarus' Lightweight Access Cab Build

Dropped it off on Monday morning at 8am. Got a call Monday at 5 saying they were just about done, but they'd have to keep it until the next morning. Picked up Tuesday 8am. Yeah, I thought about doing that. I enjoy modifying my truck myself, but for now I stick to bolt-ons and suspension...

Six States in Salt Lake, but there's a location in Orem too. Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters recommended Orem because they know Toyotas well, but I went with SLC to save time. I thought they did a good job, though they took a little longer and they nicked an axle seal. I woke up to a big puddle of...

    Ikarus' Lightweight Access Cab Build

Just wrapped up a trip with Overland Journal & BMW Motorrad - 900 miles of trails from Las Vegas through Southern Utah to Colorado - the Utah Traverse. Only scraped the frame once on the Beef Basin trail, right before this picture at the gnarly right hander through the cliffs in the back...

    Ikarus' Lightweight Access Cab Build

Yeah man, it was a good time. You can't see the 100+ degree temps though... haha Thanks! Yeah, I love it. Before I got the Tacoma, I test drove a Defender (2.5L NA) and it was unbearably slow, but I think the idea of a lightweight, high mpg, reliable rig that can handle most terrains has...
