My first JK, my first new vehicle and well my first lemon...

^nice, my family bought a jeep there when I was younger. Yeah, Park is a good spot. I work down there, so it's easy to get to. Hoping I don't need to find out how "mod-friendly" they are...pretty much ever. If you catch my drift. :)

Bushtrekka bike trailer and "rooftop popup tent"

I'm trying to find something positive about that, but I can't.

Ouch. What dealership? I just bought mine at Park. Transaction went well... Looks like it came out ok in the end!

    Ceramic Clear Coat Spray paint

That is so toxic, it's not even funny. You should clean that stove out, ASAP.

    Slow Build: 2013 JK

Can you tell I'm sick of winter yet? I have also decided on a Gobi rack, should have that in less than 2 months. Then I can start tent shopping!

    Uscg2008 stormtrooper

Ex-Coastie here (used to be stationed in Cordova) just wanted to say nice work on the lights behind the grille! I tried to do that on my old winter beater, and they set the grille on fire when I was driving. Whoops.

Main Line Overland JK Build Thread

This is a fantastic build. Pretty much a checklist of what I want to do to my JK. Pretty sure I'll be hitting up your store at some point in the future.

    Slow Build: 2013 JK

The color has really grown on me. Looks awesome with the black bits. And yeah, I do need a lift. It's in the cards, just not for a couple years. I'm going to drive it and see what the shortcomings are, and let that guide me. I did find a CB radio I would like. I have almost NO need for one...

    Hey Everyone!

Thanks! I grabbed it a little less than two years ago when the market for those was uh, fully depressed. Bummer for who sold it, great for me. Honestly, its a great "toy". 25 mpg, fast enough to be fun, and SUPER easy to work on...but the parts make campy stuff look reasonable. Ha.

    Slow Build: 2013 JK

^thanks! I found a set of very lightly used Rubicon rails on Craigslist last week for $75, and snatched them up. I put them on today: I also removed the side stickers, and replaced them with some OEM jeep badges I got off amazon for $7 whole dollars each. Put a shorty antenna on as well, I...

    The Cherokee is back?

Oh, the plans (and the stats you posted) are just fine...but people are shallow when it comes to looks. A CR-V/Forester/Escape are all better looking than this, and that's REALLY saying something.

    The Cherokee is back?

404: tasteful aesthetics not found Man, and I thought the front end was bad. Wow.

Any suggestions on a MTV helmet?

Honestly, it's pretty hard to go wrong with Bell/Giro helmets. Easy to find, all sorts of prices, and they both fit pretty different so you should be able to find something that fits you well. Pick a price, then go try some stuff on. The amount of helmet tech you can get for well under $100...

    Hey Everyone!

HA! Put your engine back in, we need to off-road soon! Pick the Sprinter. I would. :) I actually got a thumbs down from some old ************ on the highway while I was driving to the place where the picture was taken. He was in a beige buick, so that means I'm probably doing it right. Right?

    2013 JKUR Ordered!!

Nice! I just picked up a commando green "sport s" JKUR last weekend. We love it. Looking forward to seeing yours with the painted to match top. How long did they say until delivery? I don't know if they have a production cycle going right now...

    Gokracer1's 2013 JKUR Build

Very nice! That's the color we wanted, but could not find. Any more details on the CB install? I was just looking at some tonight. Is the base attached to the side of the tunnel in the passenger foot well?

    The Budget Minded Bikepacker

I see that the "larger" Esbit stove was mentioned in here, but this one impressed me when I saw it in terms of size and cost. For $15, it definitely fits the "budget" aspect of this thread. I ordered one today from work, I'll report back when I use it.
