Weasel... I'm a complete Diesel Noob... What exactly do these changes do? How expensive (guestimate) are they? Was there any economy improvement with it? Also, this is for the JK Wrangler, right?
Hey all
I know this might be a longshot but I thought I'd try. I'm in Korea and just purchased a JKRubicon Unlimited 2.8l diesel and I'm looking for break-in information. This is my first diesel and only second new car.... so I'm a bit of a noob.

I live here. I'm Canadian so we have no military here... I've been a teacher here since 2006. This is my wife's home, so we will be here for a while (though not forever.)

Thanks for all the replies. I still have times of research and thinking to do before this happens. Mostly it'll come down to money. Although, the brochure my wife gave me days that the Rubicon is cheaper than the Moab... I'm going to have to look into this some more.

Well I've convinced the wife that we "need" a Jeep! Will be picking one up either mid winter or early spring (need to save our Pennies as they are damn expensive...)
Just a couple of questions. Since there's not a whole lot of off Rossini here in Korea, this Jeep will mostly be used for fire...
Hi all. I recently ran across an off road trailer here in Korea called a Highlander Vagabond. The thing looked pretty solid. Lots of storage, RTT, etc. And priced amazingly at around $2,500USD. I was wondering if anybody has heard of this company. I didn't get a chance to take a pic, but I'm...
Seen a few of these around Korea. Never would have thought they were capable offroad. Good to know. Oh, and nice lookin rig

Just left the local Jeep dealer. They have a Moab edition Wrangler floor model. That is one SEXY ride. Maybe I'll have to start working more overtime so I can buy that bad boy.

The Mojave here is a "luxury" SUV. I don't believe the v8 is an option here, only diesel (which is good considering gas is about 1.70usd pet liter). Only downside is that since they are "luxury SUVs" here, even used they go for over 25,000...

Imported cars are definitely available (though the selection is limited). The issue with imported vehicles is service and price. Even a three year old Wrangler is going for 30,000usd.

Looks aren't a huge concern. Wondering about off road capability with so little weight in the back of the bongo...
