It was 16 degrees this morning, I had the Montero all warmed up but I could not get it out of Park. I hit the brakes over and over. The brake lights were working. I re-started it several times and finally gave up. How do I get it out of Park? How do I disable this permanently? Thanks, Brian

My 97SR has adjustable shocks and I'm needing to replace them. I've read through a lot of posts and I haven't seen anyone replacing theirs with the adjustable. Am I missing something? If you replace with standard shocks, what do you do with the actuators from the adjustable ones? Bran

Little update, I crawled under it today and pulled the boot back on the front diff shift rod to find that someone had pulled the pin out of the linkage and had it shifted in 2wheel mode. The shift rod shifted smooth from 2x to 4x mode with me spinning the front driveshaft some. I only have...
