Need recommendation for camp kitchen utensil set

A couple choices Have you looked at Duluth Pack or Frost River? I know Frost River has a roll with Epicurian utensils included. Not sure your price range but you should check them out-very traditional north woods kit. I use Duluth Pack as found on sale.

    Camp Towel Recomendations

I have used these for years and think they are very nice. The nano too thin for much but the original and personal towels work well. https://www.packtowl.com

    Pot Set

This set might be worth a look. I have no history with the brand but did buy my pressure cooker through this site and went smoothly. https://www.tedescotrade.com/products_detail.php?ProductID=1195&SubCatID=14&CategoryID=

Any old school agrarians out there?

Sorry for the delay in response. One of the favorites I make is beef jerky which is very easy to make if you have a dehydrator (try Alton Brown's jerky marinade recipe-huge hit all around) you can also dehydrate the veggies for soup (peas, carrots, mushrooms), fruit for snacks, tomatoes...

Any old school agrarians out there?

I love this site but don't recall seeing any posts here about anyone using home canned or dried foods for their trips. I have been doing this for years, taking homemade jerky, soups, canned meat etc camping. Stable, requires no refrigeration, can vacuum seal the dried ingredients for each meal...

    Snow Peak Addiction

I am a 30 year Coleman user (with an MSR Whisperlight, Solo Stove, Firebox, Magma etc thrown in over the years) but once you buy them you don't really need to buy again. Enter my curiosity after reading ad nauseam (in the best way possible that is) about Snow Peak...has anyone ever added up the...

    Coffee Makers?

Apologies if this is already mentioned but I picked up the Stanley Mountain Series french press late this summer so only got to use it twice, but I thought it was excellent. Used in place of my well worn SS percolator. Added benefit it contains a thermos to keep the coffee hot while making...

    Pot Set

Historically I used a mix of lightweight stainless and cast iron. I recently received the ceramic magma and so far am very happy. Nothing sticks, it heats up very efficiently, and I am still surprised by the weight. I wrote the company and was told they have not been tested for campfire cooking...

    Wood Fuel Firepit/Stove

Seems very similar to the larger Solo Stove Campfire. It is hard to tell actual size from pictures. I have the Solo Stove (and there are other gasifiers) and it works well. Be aware any cooking on it with result in sooty pans to wash if you don't take precautions. This being all stainless looks...

    JKU Lift/Wheel/Tire combo Sanity Check

Post trip update UPDATE Just drove across SD and WY through the contours and always present strong winds. Totally feel like the regear is absolutely necessary as the Jeep could not maintain speed limit in 6th and often 5th. At some points 4th was required. Now that is what gears and revs are...

Should I buy $50 North Face Duffel

If it is the old design they are awesome. I am hearing not such great reviews of the recent redesign. Color...tell everyone you are a firm supporter of breast cancer research and move on to chopping some wood.

    JKU Lift/Wheel/Tire combo Sanity Check

We just put the 3.5 inch AEV lift on our JKU 2015 Rubicon along with 35 inch Cooper STT Pros. The JKU came stock 6-speed manual with 4:10s and is still ok with the 35s (mathematically near 3.73s now but I do honestly miss the feel of the 4:10s. At the moment I would call it a more relaxed ride...
