Sounds like Stellantis is on the right path.

Yeah Jupiter, I know. Very easy for the govt and NRC to say nothing significant was emitted if they did not use the proper detection gear or check downwind. Pictures of the radiation burns on the girl who had been outside riding her bike, for example, are kind of terrible. The amount of dead...

Thanks for the info. Understand that when I was a kid in the '70's we were told all about what people thought the future would be like. Solar power - cool and we saw it in a lot of science fi. Flying cars. Electrification. I'm not against it. But I have worked with a municipality that has...

-Nobody drives or charges their cars at 9pm so close to the winter solstice? -There is no need for load planning during extreme weather going forward? -Massachusetts also suffers from NIMBY, see the Kennedy family shutting down Cape Wind project. project. - I was around at the time of 3 mile...

50% natural gas. Almost 18% "unspecified imported" - read: hydro, nuclear, coal, burning trash or anything really Almost 9% nuclear. NUCLEAR I've seen the call by environmentalists for more nuclear as a supposed "green and safe option." Sorry, but anyone who remembers Three Mile Island...

Exxon and BP are of course not more trustworthy than our government. They also are not less trustworthy. One must see what they are and know they have an aim, and look at what they say with a jaundiced eye. Both the government and big business will lie to your face, flat out, for thier...

Is there not, then, a cost with strip mining or fracking (by another name) and processing lithium? Making the batteries? Not saying i dont like this idea per se but if you are going to draw it all out like that it should be done across the board. And I dont know the answer. I'd like to, though.

I'm not trying to jinx myself here but I am daily-ing a 9 year old Sierra with 185k on it. I dont know that I would be comfortable driving anything but new from here to the Arctic, but I roll out 500 miles a week on this thing. Yes I've had to do a lot of maintenance and the transmission gave...

Which, unfortunately, Chevy killed off. I guess it was more a move away from sedans in general than the Volt specifically

    Can we talk coffee brewing?

Well, it MIGHT confuse the drug sniffing dogs for a bit. I'm sure there's some reason not to do it

    Can we talk coffee brewing?

Dont you put a paper filter into the percolator hopper? I do, and I dont end up with coffe grinds. Get an oversized paper one, fold it over the top as needed. And poke the corners of it down over the stem before putting the cover on. Love percolated coffe

    Clunking on acceleration

Sorry to hear that! I do feel you pain, though. Had a "catastrophic" failure of transmission in my 2014 GMC Sierra this past spring at 180,000 miles, but I was only a mile from home. Well out of warranty, GM said they would just replace it for $8,000. I balked. Eventually I found a small...

    How to camp with dogs!

Kurgo leashes are OK, but the multi-config leash is actually very weak at the alternate attachment points. Take a look at Lupine. Get one in your hands and you will see the difference!

    How to camp with dogs!

Not spoiled. Genius on you. My dog LOVES the sleeping bag but hasn't been in his crate since he was 6 months old. If I ever need to travel with him in a crate, this is how I'm going to do it
