You were totally correct about the FWC wiring. The battery didn't even have to be deeply discharged to drop the voltage enough at the regulator to disconnect it. I was planning to wire heavier wire in anyway, but it turned out to be a necessity. I have 2/0 welding wire running front to back to...

Boxes! Boxes built and installed.. I also threw it up on the forklift again, to make sure everything flexed where it was designed to and nothing broke. So far so good, but I'm guessing the roads of Baja and central America will do a better job of exposing weaknesses.. Bedsides this weekend...
