    Jeep decisions

I am Canadian as well. We have ridiculously limited protection against this kind of crap.

    2014 Rubicon X package ?

The polar edition is pretty hilarious and typical of the wrangler "special editions".

WH(WK) Expo to Iceland with family August 2013

The pictures are worth a thousand words, but how was the trip? Great images, and an excellent WK!

10th aniversary Bumper for sale in Austin

Wow, that is an amazing deal. The wheels and tires alone go for $2k+ around here, and $400 for a steel(ish) winch compatible(ish) bumper isn't bad. I'd grab both if I was anywhere close at all.

    Jeep decisions

I'm sorry to hear this man... but I put my vote in with anyone saying stick it out, get it fixed right, and get to enjoying the vehicle you paid for. Give Chrysler hell until they fix it under warranty. And I hear you on the no Canadian lemon law thing... we really don't have a leg to stand on...

Looking for a new Expedition vehicle and can't decide, Help :)

I have had zero issues with my 2012 JKUR, and it is not babied at all. When it comes to Jeep reliability, they've come a long way. You always hear about the bad apples on the internet. Ask Scott Brady about his JK reliability experiences... last I heard, they were all positive.

JK Overland Project: Expeditions West 3.0

This may very well be the best looking JK I have ever seen. Well done.

    Longest trip in a JKU?

I take 900km trips in my JKUR semi regularly for work. These trips are one way, single day, and a single driving session... only stops are gas. I haven't had much of a problem with comfort. We usually carpool as 3-4 people, and no one has ever complained about the passenger room or comfort...

A vehicle isn't yours until you've named it. What do you call your Jeep vehicle?

Pearl. Short for "The Black Pearl"

    3.8 JK

I have the 3.6 with the new auto, and I love it. That said, I'd give it up in a second for a slow low HP diesel with torque in the right places, and some better RANGE.

    The Cherokee is back?

I think that article was tripe... And I think the lack of utility in such a model would force it to be at a price point that is lower than Jeep would be willing to go.

another prediction that XTerra is finished

I bought my 2012 Rubicon for $34k all in. That is with hard top, heated front seats, and the premium stereo, and connectivity group. The premium stereo consists of 7 infinity speakers including 8" sub, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, and USB integration. When I built the xTerra in 2012, it...

another prediction that XTerra is finished

When I bought my '12 Rubi I couldn't build a Pro4x xTerra for the same price. The xterra was more expensive. The xterra had less options. The xterra had a worse interior by far. When I test drove it I also was not impressed at the harshness of ride, and how noisy it was. After testing the...

    '13 Tacoma vs. '13 Rubicon

I've got a '12 JK and again have to agree that space and weight will be a problem with what you're looking at. But I've also driven a Taco... and I'd much rather the Jeep.

    Newbie Buying His First Jeep

I'll throw my vote in for a Sport. Don't get me wrong, I have a Rubicon and I love it. I would never go back and change that decision. If you can afford it, I completely recommend it without reservation. However; I think most people underestimate the capabilities of the Sport and Sahara...

    The Cherokee is back?

I'll reserve judgement until I drive one, and see some capability videos. I made the mistake of pre-judging the LR4, and few vehicles have impressed me as much. Unfortunately I do still think this iteration of the Cherokee is ugly as hell...
