Radflo suspension for 3rd gen montero

LOL if I go that route Im sure Ill manage. Im going to call King tomorrow, but I expect them to be well outside what Im willing to pay so Im sure it will be radflo or OME. The question is will the 2.0s be ok? There are plenty of 2.0 kits out for land cruisers, 4runners, etc, etc but...

Radflo suspension for 3rd gen montero

Bump...Anyone have direct experience with king or radflo on a montero and how it rides on higher speed off-road? I'm a little concerned with the fact they are 2.0 vs 2.5 shocks. Not sure if the montero is too big for the 2.0. Radflo has 10% off through Monday so I want to pull the trigger.

Radflo suspension for 3rd gen montero

I saw your build with the kings (cool rig) how much better was the ride? Was it worth it?

I keep watching this Montero video

Can you post a link for the lower 3rd gen gears? I looked at Mark's website and did not see any listed for a gen 3

    3.8 low on power

I bet it would make a ton of racket if the tensioner went bad. My guess is general tune up and the first thing I would check is the air filter. Any CELs?

Radflo suspension for 3rd gen montero

Has anyone on here used the radflo suspension on their 3rd gen Montero? http://www.radflo.com/store/product/mitsubishi-montero-pajero-perforomance-suspension-system/ I think this would be really cool on the montero and may truly give some level of Dakar performance and the ability to haul ***...

    3rd Gen Montero Questions

Im not sure I really paid attention. I think it stays on in 4hloc and I have not turned it off. Id say it really would depend on what kind of driving you are doing. The only time I see the ASC needed to be turned off is when your doing some spirited driving and don't want the computer correcting...

    3rd Gen Montero Questions

If I understand what your asking correctly, the ASC (automatic stability control?) is what automatically turns off in 4lo and can be turned off manually. This controls skids, doughnuts, all the fun stuff, etc. ATC (automatic traction control?) is always active and cannot be turned off. This is...

Its always something.......Mine had iridium plugs and if I had to guess I'd say they were OEM at 100k. I wanted to flush the brake fluid and PS fluid, but ran out of time. Still need to do those and the T-case and then everything should be fresh. I have been playing with base, mid and premium...

I bet your right about the coolant color. It got green extended life this time around. So far I have not driven it enough to say about the plugs and wires. Maybe idles a little smoother, but hard to say. I have a trip this weekend so Im hoping for a little better mileage. One thing for sure...

Finally got around to the timing belt. I gained no love for the Montero, that job sucked. What a pain in the ***. But its done and runs fine. Also did new plugs and wires. One odd thing is the coolant was a nasty brown color, is that normal? I flushed it out with 6-7 gallons of distilled...

Still New To Me Gen 3 Won't Start

Thats good it started. After reading the thread I was pretty sure it had something to do with the recent timing belt work, but it running seems to point to another issue (maybe...). Hate to say it as I DIY everything, but you may be to a point it would be money and time well spent to take it...

Got to try the new sliders on Kingston Pass. Im glad I had them, but especially the skid plates. All the rocks seemed to be the perfect size to bang the **** out of the underside!!! Fun trip though. The Monty did great, but I am really looking forward to a few extra inches of lift. Im use...

Thanks Dave, no first I've heard of that guy. That picture helps, although I'm not sure it would take much of an impact. It is a hard area to mount though so I'm sure it's better than nothing. What was the pricing you guys got? Coffeegoat, I'm in Denver too, if shipping is the same for...

Does anyone have pictures or advice on how to install a skid plate that coveres the transfer case? Id like to add another skid plate as it seems the tcase is really hanging out, but I'm not sure where the back mounts should be....??

Thanks guys. I did consider the wings getting hung up, but it seemed like a lot of the body by the wheel wells would be exposed. I figured it was better to offer some protection and risk getting hung up. If it's a problem it should be pretty easy to cut them back some.

Update.....Rock sliders, check. Finally got the sliders done. I thought this would be a fast project, but kind of turned into a pain in the ***. But I think they turned out nice and should offer plenty of protection. After getting the stock running boards off a little trimming of this big...
