    New 2016 Titan Released

Really bummed about the looks ... haven't seen anything on the pricing, I think that will make or break this truck. Anecdotally, I'm not hopeful for it's prospects based on the responses I'm seeing this morning (threads like this, and comments on FB ...) ... time will tell, though. It's a...

    NmexMAX's 08 Pathfinder

Nice ... cool to see it still out and about; there aren't many folks building the R51s, let alone the V8 models. Isn't that ever the truth ... :Mechanic:

    NmexMAX's 08 Pathfinder

Looks like a good time! I thought you sold this thing, though; no?

Well the news is out so here's the build: Expedition Portal So-Cal Teardrop

Awesome news ... glad you guys were able to make it down and be there for him and the rest of the family. I'm also glad to hear everything went smoothly. That actually sounds like an amazing way to spend the holiday dinner ... can't think of many ways that could make it better. My grandfather...

winter is here so how cold is it?

... seconded! Downright balmy, this morning ... at least by comparison ... at ~30*F. Sure beats last week when we had single digits for a couple of days, and down into the negative teens overnight for a few nights ... not including wind chill. I know you folks in the northern climes will...

    Nissan Photos - post your's

It's okay; now that you have yours back, and with the new motor, you can just send me that white one ... it'll do just fine as is (to start a build), I almost don't even care about what motor it has ... the fact that it's a Y61, that I likely would never be able to get, is enough ...

My New Build: 1990 3-Door Nissan Patrol, 4.2, Diesel

The truck's coming together so nicely ... looks really great as-is, without very much lift, even. ... and I agree, great looking dogs.

    RMP&O's v8 80-series

Awesome ... love it when builds come together (those little camp lights look great, BTW ... I may have to look into a few myself!). The payoff when you're cruising down there with everything put together, will absolutely be worth it ... but it's a lot of work to push through and get there, I...

That Black-Blue van is seriously drool worthy ... what's it in for?

My Arabian Nissan Patrol 1997 Y60 (GQ)

Awesome ... I really love this build. It's gotta feel great to be getting near the end, where you can start to see the actual utility and driveability coming back (as opposed to sitting in the shop with a long list of problems to solve). I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I can't wait to...

    Nissan Photos - post your's

More info/discussion/pictures on turborobo's van happened in the 4x4 NV Thread: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/115506-Nissan-NV-4x4 ... hope you don't mind me linking there, turborobo ... but I had just read through some stuff there and it was front of mind. ETA: For guys...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

On the topic of dual battery systems & jump packs, here's some good links for reading ... they're a bit dense (lots to read) and occasionally harder to wade through (especially some of the charging/electrical theory that comes up in the two battery threads), but there's some really good stuff in...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

I'm not sure if it's actually an SMA connector that they use, or not, but that K40 cable that you found is exactly what I was referring to in my previous post ... cool! ... and as far as the DBS ... I'm right there with both of you guys. Just be sure that if you go big on the primary battery...

Nice ... I'm also a fan of the bumper mounted fiberglass antennas ... though, for Xterras I think a no-hoop bumper (specifically, I'm a fan of the Shrockworks' lines) works quite a bit better with the look of the vehicle. The ARB works so much better on that body Frontier, than on the Xterra...

Is the Pro 4x Worth it?

I'll side with others in affirming your desire to look for a 6MT S model ... but only because you're looking to modify it. If you weren't interested in that, then the P4X would be worth the premium; and yes, X is base ... S should be one step up. I've got an '08 Offroad (they changed the...

Local? Either way, sounds like a self-christmas-present in the making ... then you can spend the savings on a set of these: http://mainlineoverland.com/?shopp_product=mlo-led-light-pods ... ;) Glad to hear you're liking the snow performance ... and I completely agree on the traction control...
