    National Luna Legacy Fridge smell

Best way IMO is to air it out. I run my fridges about half the time and the other half of the time I clean them out and fold up a small towel and wedge it under the lid creating an inch or two of breathing room. If your fridge has a light on you may have to unplug it, the fridge I mean. On...

    E350 seats and seatbelts

Yep, I'm just seeing this now too. I don't have any but between CO and Ohio you probably passed lots of them, especially in Northern Indiana in the RV/truck/van conversion Mecca. These are a lot easier to find from Transits these days since E-series haven't been made in many years but they...

    Insurance Woes

https://www.roamly.com/rv-insurance This company has been discussed here or on some other forum I'm on. Read the webpage before you pass them off as regular RV insurance. They supposedly specifically insure home built camper vans and the like, which you are close enough on IMO. Please...

WARNING: ARB Awnings & Awning Rooms NOT Weatherproof

Sorry, I reread your post and I think you are right. I thought you were saying that water came in and edges and against the vehicle, etc. and you got wet and were blaming the awning for this. You plainly say water came straight through the awning (material I'm sure you mean). That's...

WARNING: ARB Awnings & Awning Rooms NOT Weatherproof

Awnings are primarily built for sun shade. Any benefit you get out of them in the rain is merely a bonus. Sorry you had to learn that the hard way. ARB makes great products, generally speaking, it's not their fault that their awning that does not say 'rain proof' is not rain proof. I can't...

    New 270 Awning available.

Looks like the Reign Outdoor one to me, and about the same weight. I wonder if they are actually the same awning? Either way, I like it. That's VERY light for a 270 awning.

Such limited 4x4 van choices with decent gas mileage (in the US)

It's probably that the Germans are still mad at us over the war. You can't miss an opportunity for a conspiracy theory these days.

Best deals on 100ah LiFeP04 batteries?

I very happily paid $1k for a 300ah LiTime battery on Amazon about 6 months ago. It's been impressive to say the least. For that reason just the other day (not Prime Day) I got two 280ah Chins batteries for $650 apiece.

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

I do the same. I like big, heavy over the top camper vans and I run E rated tires on them which typically spec higher pressures. I run 55-60 on road with those for maximum fuel mileage and the moment I get offroad I drop to 20. I have a BIG *** air compressor to make this simpler. I think...

Ideas for cargo in back of Jeep- adding slides for boxes and fridge?

What? You mean you don't swap photos to new phone and keep piling them up? Lol. I've got about 7000 pics on my phone. It really ticks me off when I'm searching for something important like Jeep mods and can't find it and then I come across a photo I saved of an interesting looking burrito or...

StoryTeller dropping Transit vans from the lineup

I agree. I think they're 100 percent off the mark in this choice but they don't, and that's all that matters. I'm sure it has to do with tooling/assembly line mostly, but given my experience with trying to get a Transit from Ford I'm 100% convinced that Ford isn't very interested in selling...

WTB Pop Too Camper Ram 6.4 2500 Oregon

Spelling can be impotent, especially in the tittie of your ad. Just sayin'.

Ideas for cargo in back of Jeep- adding slides for boxes and fridge?

If I still had a JKU and needed a water storage solution I'd go for the AEV bumper, no question. Pricey but awesome. Have you thought of a Rotopax tube mounted high to your roll bar? Or a Rotopax mounted to the outside of the roll bar, between window and roll bar? Not sure if one would fit...

Purchasing a van, looking for advice

Calling @whith Yes, it's a very good engine but pretty rare. Certain years are better than others. All diesels have their years to avoid and known problems. I can't tell you specifics but plenty of people here can, like WhitH for instance. All said above is true though. Conversely you can...

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

I'm not sure but it sure looks like a good option. Call someone that does wraps and ask em?

Purchasing a van, looking for advice

GM vans are capable of very high miles. I wouldn't let high miles scare me if it's in good shape. Church vans/Schools/etc. tend to use vans twice a year or so though and it just isn't good for anything on them to sit that much. Belts, seals, tires, anything rubber and all the fluids do better...

    Southco Rotary Latches

I've seen them or something very similar used on some builds on Youtube but I can't say where exactly ATM. However, genuine Southco is generally high quality stuff. If they aren't cost prohibitive I'd trust these most certainly over anything from Amazon, etc.

    Considering an AWD Toyota Sienna

I love the idea of an AWD Sienna and I don't want to derail this thread, in fact I'll be following with great interest, but when compared is the interior size of a medium sized SUV not about the same? If money weren't a concern I'd choose a LC over a Sienna and know it will go about anywhere...

    Hodakaguy's 4x4 Sprinter Build

Every single pic is amazing. However, the biplane with Mt. Hood behind it needs to be framed. Thanks for sharing!
