    Another Dodge

Oh, so you ordered it...Great job, it's rare for anyone to order a truck these days. I like your cab marker lights option. I have an '04 ST (bought it used). It does have carpet and cruise control, but no power windows, locks, or seats. I like the manual stuff--will still be working fine at...

Nice truck! Those standard wheels are my favorite...they look so purposeful. Does it have manual or power windows? :smiley_drive:

    365 Project...with a twist.

I think that shot above works very well for a street scene. I spent some time looking at it (before I read your explanation) and admired the reflection and the fog. It has kind of a lonely and eerie feeling to it. I think what really makes the shot is the billboard--it contrasts nicely and...

    New 3.6L Pentastar User's Report?

Some gas mileage reports with our 2011 GC (V6, 4x4)--these are the mpg per tank during my wife's commute, which is 80 miles roundtrip, about 20 of which is "city" and the rest would be "country" at 50 mph. Sure has a nice cruising range of ~530 miles per tank. So, over the last 2600 miles...

Overland Journal Classic Build: 1995 Range Rover

Darn! There goes the price of RRC's! Looking forward to the build anyway. :sombrero:

Well I finally dropped the hammer

Congrats on the new truck! With that low mileage, it should last you a few years! The issue with older campers not fitting newer trucks is because the newer trucks have their beds tapering in towards the rear for aerodynamics, with a resultant loss of about 3" in tailgate opening width. I...

Dear Abby, My wife keeps sending me Craigslist ads for Range Rover Classics.

Yes, and you should strike while the iron is hot. You know you want one too, but right now it's easily justified!:sombrero:

    Panoramic Shots

^ ^Beautiful lighting. The way the mountains taper off at each end keeps my eye glued to the image! Nice.

    2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Mileage report with our new GC--- It's my wifes new commuter/ski trip car. V6 4x4. And yes, before signing on the dotted line I asked if she would'nt rather have a Wrangler instead. :) She took off from Tucson to meet up with a friend in Grand Junction for the wine festival, with ~400 miles...

Some questions about photos, photo rights, watermarking, etc

It's neat that things are progressing this way for you. More power to you! Instead of giving the organizers 2,000+ pics, why don't you pick out the hundred or so best ones, watermark those, and give them only those? That way, you have some control of what they put "out there" with your name...

New Nikon Talk me in or out

I'm afraid so. When I told a friend at work how much the camera cost, he said "Wow, that's an expensive hobby!" Little does he know... A lot of you folks this forum have been an inspiration. I'll give it a whirl....:sombrero: Scott

New Nikon Talk me in or out

I just ordered a "factory refurbished" D5000 from Adorama. The deal was just too good to pass up--$519 with the 18-55 lens. It will serve me as an interim camera while I save my pennies for a full-frame pro model later. I was also wanting a camera with a tilting lcd screen, so this fit the...

    Monsoon Season in Arizona

I like the way you captured those powerlines. The eye is drawn to the bright spot in the upper right, and then forced to follow the lines down and out the other side...then the eye goes back to the upper right. Also, nice use of the "thirds" principal. You really nailed this one. :elkgrin...

    Nightime Intruder

Nice shot, Brad. You can say that again. Years ago, I took a course at Thunder Ranch in the hill country. I stayed in one of their "cabins" which were fairly new, standard construction. The cabin was infested with scorpions. I would see them walking along inside the vent grille for the...

Well, this looked a lot better in real life than my cheapo-camera capture here. The clouds and localized rain activity yesterday were just beautiful.
