    Colorado / Canyon bent frame

Aww bummer. My bad. What was the final outcome of the issue?

    Colorado / Canyon bent frame

Saw this on FB so thought it’s just leave it here. Don’t know anything about it other than the pictures.

Methods of attaching pop-up camper canvas to frame

You’d probably get a better response in the camper section....there are a lot builds that answer this question over there as well. Good luck!

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

Not long after I posted that I figured you meant overall height. Thanks for the clarification.

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

How do they deliver Ford Raptors? I’m seeing they come with 35s. (34.4s but bigger than 33s). Not being a smart-A, just asking....

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

I agree. The grills on the new trucks look like a handlebar mustache. I don’t know what they were going for...

    Ram Trucks RT25 Supertourer

$215k AUD base with bare bed. But awesome. https://pcor4x4.com.au/

Side mount on the truck bed

Wind noise is non-existent. Being behind the cab must be why, because when I had this rack on my WRX, it was very noisy. Can't hear a thing on the truck though. And no, I don't use this truck for serious offroad and haven't (yet) been to a trailhead where this would be an issue. But I can...

Side mount on the truck bed

Made up some brackets that hold the bike rack on the side of the bed so that the back doors stay free to open and close. Just thought I would share.

Lets see some full size pictures...

Made some bike rack brackets for the truck to keep it out of the way of the rear doors.

    Spare Tire Ladder Steps

Air down spare tire to 20-30 psi, install stairs, tighten ratchet strap as much as possible, air tire back up to 40-50 psi? Should tighten up considerably I would think... You could also put some rubber strips between the ratchet and strap and maybe see if that would help. Thoughts only.... I...

Talk Me Out of an OBS as a budget overlanding rig!

Haven’t read the thread. But I had a 97 F250 for a few years with the 7.3 PS. My thoughts if you go that route: - later model truck OBS - do a D60 swap. Mine was sub $1000 - do electric fuel pumps - pull the bed, and make new fuel pickups. I’d consider that a minimums list. If I bought one...

    Raise the Roof!

Having owned a 100 series, I think you will be disappointed in the amount of interior room for something like this. Doing a high roof on something isn't a bad idea ( though a lot of work), I just think for what you are talking about, the 100 might be smallish.

Camper shell with swing open doors: Opinions

I have thought about the same thing. The lock is a good idea, but other solutions would be welcome. My partial “solution” to this is my sliding rear window on the truck. I want to add a sliding window to the camper shell and seal the gap with a tire tube and just leave the truck window open...

Design help request: Dog enclosure UNDER truck for camping

The discobed is a very interesting idea. I didn't even think about "bunk bed" style setups. That could work but one would have to be big enough for the little tyke and the wife together. Or come up with his own little bed. But the impact dog crates are out of the question. $500 minimum x 2 and...
